Some just never develop into D1 players. Nothing wrong with playing at a smaller school. If they develop down there, they can still get drafted. I wish him well but like the others that hit the portal. Their time here ran out. You get 2 years, if you’re not playing then you need to move on.

Dean Engram just announced he is in the transfer portal at Wisconsin as a WR... Does he come to PSU because his father is next WR coach at PSU?

Are you sure about that? I know he's interviewing with the Patriots and may get the job, but that's not the same as being fired.

Is Nebraska becoming Georgia Midwest? They landed their third transfer portal recruit from Georgia in massive OT Jacob Hood. He joins another former 4* LB and 5* TE from Georgia to bolster Rhule’s roster. Lots of upside here it seems…

I heard there may still be announcements as paperwork could take a couple days to process.
It’s a hard luck life. Some keep looking and contacting schools and hopefully a few find a scholarship. Others if they can pay, enroll somewhere in hopes getting a scholarship. A narrow path to follow. Some if they can pay, just pack in football and concentrate on a degree. Unfortunately many of the others enter the workforce, often in menial jobs from which they never escape. And some end up as problems for society.
I think you give some of our problem posters too much athletic credit.
