No doubt, but that was just a feeling I had. I was thinking it also gave Purdue a chance to get settled.

ugly match-up for PSU. TAMU played really well during the season, and I believe got to the SEC Tourney Championship game (which they lost).
PSU's inconsistent play this season, and then their great run late in the season, looks to have made things a challenge for the tournament to figure out how to seed them.

Well, if BTN is the only place to watch PSU sports that's what you watch, regardless of the suckiness of it. Should we watch SEC for the production values?
It was obvious the seedings occurred before the weekend results. Texas A&M plays 3 guards and 2 forwards 6-8 and 6-9. Both average under 10 pts a game. Have to have the shootin shoes on!
Someone please explain how Illinois is a 9 and we’re a 10. We had more quad one wins and beat them 3 times.
Couple of things:
Had to listen to radio. Purdue announcers.
1. Purdue announcers said they missed a travel on previous Purdue sequence. Cost us a possession down 1.
2. Purdue announcers said Purdue getting most of calls all day (should surprise no one in a Big10 contest).
3. Agree that Shrews wanted to draw up a play to get a clean look. Purdue knows Shrews as a disciple of Brad Stevens - the very best in the business and suggested that is why the TO was called. The tip by Edey on the inbound disrupted the play.
I don't think they do. They got rid of the "recent performance" a while ago. A win in November counts as much as the same win in March.
If you don’t call TO, Edey can’t tip the ball! No way I would have called a TO. Game 35, need a two to tie, three to win, after a missed FT, have practiced that situation by now at least 200 times… never would have called TO, and I bet the board I would have gotten Funk the ball!
Texas A&M is quite good. They beat Bama recently albeit at home. They will be a big challenge
So write a letter to Francois McGillicuddy and tell him you wouldn't mind if the BTN reverted to black and white.
Did not say I agreed with calling tbe TO…just trying to paint the picture of why he did.
Shrews is the man…if we can sign him, good times are ahead…even better than today.
I understand…was a coach for 25 years…I just would have not called TO… Shrew has a different take. What makes the game great. Of course he is making a million and I am drinking Budweiser!
