I think we'd all be thrilled if Landon Tengwall has an All American season.

1) B Allen is a heck of a back - IMO - who played in a God-awful offense last year. If Fickell turns things around up there (and I think he will relatively quickly), Allen could have a big year.

2) I do not know who RJ Young is - but either he is just picking names out of a hat, is a shockingly ill-informed "expert", or he is just trying to have a little fun and generate some "WTF" reactions. Some of those selections are - if he is trying to be serious - laughable.

I can see a solid year that improves his draft stock, but not 1st team AA stats.

Who knows who might end up as 2023 AAs - but why would one think B Allen's offense will be anything even resembling 'Air Raid"? I am sure that bringing in the kid from SMU, they hope, will at least give them a competent QB, but that is still a team built to pound the run game - and Longo, when he had quality RBs, ran the heck out of the ball.

Longo is a known Air Raid style coach. Cincy is bringing in QBs with Air Raid experience. He does run the ball when he has the RBs, but I can't name a RB who ever got 1st team AA (from the OP) playing in this offense.
