Open +1.5 to UNC per fanduel. I didn't even know anyone put out lines this early. Seems just a tad premature.

That line is 100% based on the Holes having a sure fire trop draft pick @ QB. No more. No less.
I'm sure.

Our offense ought to be able to score points on their D, and we will have to. Our defenses were basically identical last year (30.4 ppg vs 31.3 ppg), but their offense was much better.

And we'll likely line up & only play defense with 9 players given there aren't any DEs.

With the tough schedule we have next year. We will probably listed as underdogs for most of our games. I think we will have 5 games against top 25 teams.

Chances are low being game 1, but I'd love to see our O come out and have a TN-type performance (of course wouldn't we love for that for every game?)!!

I rather the Gamecocks be an underdog than a favorite. Hopefully, it motivates the coaches and players.

The way too early top 25 poll came out right after the National Championship Game. The poll had UNC #21 and us #24. At the time, it stated we would be higher if Rattler decides to come back. I think Rattler is just as good as UNC's quarterback.

I would say when the AP top 25 comes out in August, we'll be ranked higher than UNC. And it won't hurt that we bring more fans to Charlotte also.
