I appreciate the info and what you are doing. I am lazy, old and use too many spreadsheets at work. I just use the PSWC site. They are very good at keeping things updated......

It is usual to see psu in the lead after the first round, they usually don't take the lead until later in day 2.
I was wondering what our historical scores were at the end of each round but I don't see it on the PSWC site and I don't want to go through 1000 old articles.

It is beer time.

It's going to plan. Exactly why I predicted a 30-40 point win. Facundo hurts for that, but still should be a comfortable win

Thanks. It's not easy while also following basketball, but I like seeing the potential paths.

We had 3 pins in the first round, WE ARE, PIN STATE.
There are a lot of teams who had pins and there is a team with 2 pins. Air Force. They are tied for 8th with 3 other blue bloods, Michigan, Okie State and Arizona State. Their heavyweight is impressive.

I understand the argument, I guess maybe it’s just adjusting expectations. I’ve wanted him and SVN to show an ability to score on opponents that are hard to score on. That’s what’s made so many of our guys different over the years. If you don’t have that, you have to be an absolute rock and be impossible to take down. Right now, he wants to be the former, but he just isn’t at this point. Which is fine! And even understandable! Just not what I want for him in his future.
I think Facundo is the better wrestler than Heller but one of those matches where the funky guy frustrates the crap out of you and wins it. I thought Alex's energy was better than the BIGs. But now he has Ramirez - tough road to AA...

Something isn’t right. He struggled to finish at the Big Ten tournament 2 weeks ago in every match. He looked great in the middle of the season and struggled big time late.
Even when Facundo beat solid opponents such as Amine, Fish, and Kharchla, they were all narrow 1-points wins or in OT. And he was helped by a questionable hand to the face call against Kharchla.

Heller is a lanky scrambler and hard to score on, but Facundo also doesn't have much variety in his offense. Also doesn't help that he seems disinclined (unable?) to put on a tough ride.

Reminds me of Nico vs Illini's Delgado.

Yeah again I mean I get it. But if you want to be a contender you get one of those takedowns when you’re in deep. You just do. Doesn’t matter how funky the guy is. Maybe it’ll just take experience and next year he’ll be different, that’s certainly my hope! But the past month has barely been top 20 not close top 8.

It almost seems like a strength issue that he can’t finish.
