Bad baserunning by Harper. I'm trying to put myself in his shoes, figuring out what he was thinking. I’m not coming up with much.Wtf was that??
I’ve seen a hundred catches just like that, so have you, and so has Harper. It doesn’t compute.I didn't think that ball would be caught. Apparently neither did Bryce. Pretty tough loss.
Just a little enthusiasm. No biggie. Every stadium has their thing. I'm sure Philly has some quirky antics too.The Braves sure like playing with their lights. Feel like it's gone dark there every time they change a pitcher, home or away. Weird. I get it for your closer. But every pitcher?
And I've misjudged a few also. Well, shake it off and back to Philadephia.I’ve seen a hundred catches just like that, so have you, and so has Harper. It doesn’t compute.
The Braves dimmed the lights regularly, five or six times minimum. I’d never seen it before, myself.I don't follow...what are you saying?

Yep. Maybe a Halloween theme, dunno. I couldn’t figure it out.The stadium lights?
Maybe they didn't pay their electric bill.Yep. Maybe a Halloween theme, dunno. I couldn’t figure it out.
It’s pretty basic. You stand on 2nd base facing 3rd base. Ball isn’t caught you score. Ball is caught you go back to 1st.I’ve seen a hundred catches just like that, so have you, and so has Harper. It doesn’t compute.
Yeah. For as great as Topper was in game 1, he was just as iffy in game 2. The Phillies really let one get away. I can’t help but feel they’ll be on the golf course next week thinking “if only…”Thought Wheeler should have been pulled after the Olsen hit. Command was slipping and a couple of balls were smoked. Can't take chances with Atlanta's offense.
It wasn’t a horrible play by Harper but he did slip, that didn’t help. If he doesn’t slip he’s probably back on first.I didn’t hear Post Game since I’m in Clearwater already. I don’t think it was horrible by Harper. If it’s caught, he goes back to first and ATL plays no doubles defense with Harper on first and 2 outs. You need 2 hits to score Harper. You don’t tag from first so he’s either at first with 2 outs or who knows if he scores if Acuna backs up clean. But you have first third at worst with an out. Realistically most likely scenario was Harper at first, two outs. That’s still better than ballgame over but Harper wanted to make sure he scored if the ball wasn’t caught.
Biggest issue was fact that Phillies had 16 baserunners, Braves 6. Phillies got to Braves pen early which was what they dreamed of. They didn’t get it done. The crap run on Turner error was huge, how does that happen?!?
Should be 2-0 coming home.
Some optimism?
