I hope he does well in Milwaukee. It's unfortunate he got caught in a position bottleneck with the Phils. Even if Harper stayed in the outfield, either Hoskins or someone else would be leaving via free agency or trade. Too bad there are only seven spots available behind the pitcher.Report: Brewers signing 1B Rhys Hoskins to a 2-year, $34 million deal

Yes. Ideally, he is a DH, because his defense at first base is a liability. Unfortunately for him, the Phils have too many DH options.I hope he does well in Milwaukee. @Tom McAndrew So when will there be a shift to a 2024 Phillies thread since, yeah, it is 2024? Too much time listing all the pies you like and don’t like I guess!
I never tire of eating, or talking about, pies.
If you go to the 1st post in this thread, you'll see that the 2023 thread was started on Feb. 1. That's my target (give or take a few days) for starting the 2024 Phillies Thread.
Rojas doesn’t need to improve in center, he needs to improve at the plateI’ll miss Hoskins. I know there wasn’t room for him but he was a true Philladelphia Phillie. When he was hot, his home runs meant a lot to the lineup. I hope Rojas improves enough in center field to make letting Hoskins go the right move.

They dumped the red jerseys for this abomination?
