I hope he does well in Milwaukee. It's unfortunate he got caught in a position bottleneck with the Phils. Even if Harper stayed in the outfield, either Hoskins or someone else would be leaving via free agency or trade. Too bad there are only seven spots available behind the pitcher.

Yes. Ideally, he is a DH, because his defense at first base is a liability. Unfortunately for him, the Phils have too many DH options.

I’ll miss Hoskins. I know there wasn’t room for him but he was a true Philladelphia Phillie. When he was hot, his home runs meant a lot to the lineup. I hope Rojas improves enough in center field to make letting Hoskins go the right move.
