So, I'm at the Blue Jackets fan appreciation event today. We're in line for autographs (Mrs KG wanted Adam Fantilli as she shares both ethnic heritage and a birthday with him). Turns out that Johnny Gaudreau's line is right across the concourse from me. He walks in wearing his Blue Jackets jersey and a hat. A Phillies hat! I yelled "Go Phillies" and got a thumbs up....
If Kruk isn't there which he won't be then it won't be good.
As it pertains to my rooting interests, I’m solidly in the “Anyone but the Astros” camp. Texas has Max Scherzer, love the guy. One thing about the Phillies, they’re a very easy team to root for. They do remind me of the 2019 Nationals. Trea Turner, I respect the hell out of him.

I don't bet on games involving teams I'm a fan of, and I shy away from predictions for the same reason. Fans know too much about the team they follow, and not as much about the opponent, so it's hard to be objective.
Nationally, the Phils in 6 seems to be a consensus pick. Only time will tell.
The Diamondbacks have two good pitchers to match up against Wheeler and Nola. The Phightins have a better bullpen, though Kimbrel is pretty inconsistent. The Phils need more production from Schwarber, Bohm, JT, and Rojas with the bats. The Diamondbacks have a lot of speed, so keeping them off the base paths is critical. I'm not sure if either team gets an advantage due to the chilly weather slated for the first two games. Could the series come down to the performance of the 3rd & 4th pitchers for each team? I expect it will be a good series, and hope that the Phils will give us more to cheer about than the Diamondbacks give their fans reasons to cheer.
I live 35 minutes from the Texas Rangers Baseball Retractable Dome. I am a lifer Phillies/ Eagles fan and would love a Phillies/Rangers WS.

Yes, this is looking like game 2 in Atlanta. Jump out to a 4-0 lead and start leaving lots of runners on. D-Backs had no one up in the bullpen.
