I play Noodles because I can usually buy 24 of them for about $1 per ball. That's perfect for my game. However, I do often find proV1s in the woods while looking for my ball. If I end up losing a noodle but finding a newish proV1 on a hole, that's like a birdie.

Pro V1s feel like rocks to me now. I go for a Srixon low compression ball these days.

Best kept secret in golf balls? Maxfli Tour and Tour X. Been playing them for two years. I was reluctant at first because, well, it was Maxfli and I was a Pro V 1 guy. But Dick's bought Maxfli and did some innovative things with it to move it closer to Titliest quality. About 60% of the cost, too. Dick's also runs specials.

I switched to the Maxfli Tour CG about 2 months ago. Not going back to Titleist.

Have you noticed distance loss? One review mentions this, as a senior golfer can't afford that 😁.
I really like the Pro V1 for so many years due to feel on short game.

As a senior myself I do like the feel aspect of a ball the most, but then again you can’t give away distance as you age. I’ve played most of the balls out there and nothing really screams
Buy me, i guess I don’t play enough or am not good enough to notice the difference. I will say for the money the taylormade tour response checks all the boxes for me, no distance loss that I can tell, great feel around the greens and the best priced three piece urethane covered ball on the market!
