Does that basically lock up a bid? Or still a chance we have more work to do?
I’d like to think so. The Lions are now 12 in PW, back behind the Luckeyes. However, they are closer to 9 than 13 (Quinnipiac).
I suppose the possible downside would be if both the Badgers and Domers would win and we would host Bucky in the B1G semis. If we would lose to a team much lower in the PW at home, that would hurt. Both UM and Lowell had their seasons end, so they won’t catch us. I don’t know how quickly they update the PW predictor, but we are still at 49% to make the field, lower than UM. So while the PW updates automatically, I don’t think the PW predictor does as well.
All that said, it looks very, very positive for Guy’s guys to have a date in Allentown for the NCAAs.
