The rink was very tilted most of the game. That said, PSU did a good job holding on to the puck on that final possession.

Won this game in a completely different fashion from the previous. Resilience against a team who matched them in shots. Moments of brilliance showcasing individual skill of our players have been huge this weekend. May that continue in a Saint Louis. Proud of this team.
Sometimes when a team wins a classic game like that to take them further than they have ever been before, it creates belief. Belief is a powerful thing in my experience.
My high school soccer team won a crazy game early in our playoff run in my senior year of high school, and that carried us to the state championship over a team that had beaten us early in the season. We just felt like we were going to win, no matter what.
Belief doesn’t create a guarantee of victory, but it does create an unusual level of will when things get tight. Best of luck to the Lions in the Frozen Four!
