To nobody's surprise, Mitchell is active early. Mesenbrink with a low single and gets the TD, 3-0. MC out quickly, 3-1, and stoppage for blood time for MC with 2:27 left. Taking some time to clean the mat. Mesenbrink in on a head-outside single, but can't get the TD. Mesenbrink shoots and eventually a stalemate with 1:54. MC shoots a single, Mesenbrink sprawls and works around, and a stalemate with 1:28 left. Mesenbrink Shoots nothing. Mesenbrink gets a low single, grabs the other leg and gets the TD, 6-1. Stoppage for blood for MC with 1:00 left. Mesenbrink gives an esc on the restart, 6-2. Mesenbrink shoots, nothing. Mesenbrink with a double and gets the TD just as MC is hit with a stall warning, 9-2. MC works up and out with 4 sec left, 9-3. End. Mesenbrink with 25 sec in RT

MC takes bottom. MC works up, back down. Mesenbrink flattens him, and then pretty much cuts him, 9-4. Mesenbrink with a head inside single and gets the TD, 12-4. He cuts him, 12-5. Mesenbrink with a single to a double for the TD, 15-5. RT over 1 min for Mitchell. MC is flattened. Stall warning on MC so that's a point for Mitchell, 16-5. Stoppage with 19 sec left for blood for MC. Caution on MC on the restart. mC tries to sit out, but Mesenbrink scrambles, and a stalemate with 7 sec left. Caution on Mesenbrink. Blood time for MC. MC sands, and is ou with 2 sec left, 16-6. End

Mesenbrink takes bottom. He rolls but MC stays with him. Mesenbrink works up and is out ,17-6. Mesenbrink in on a double, MC grabs an ankle, but Mesenbrink gets the TD, 20-6. Blood stoppage with 1:17 left, and now a video review for ?? (I didn't see anything that warranted a review.) Hmm, they wave off the TD, so it's 17-6. MC sort of shoots, Mesenbrink counters, nothing. Mesenbrink in on a low single to a double for the TD, 20-6. Coaches tell him to cut MC, so he does, 20-7. Mesenbrink with a double and gets the TD to attain the TF, 23-7, @ 6:48!!!
