Wow awesome start. Davis a BT champ and both he and Nagao improving their seed for NCAAs
Depends on other tournaments. Would hope for top 4 though and after that may not matter. Especially at 125.
Nagao wins NCAA’s if he comes out aggressive from the start.

Am I the only person who heard the crowd roar and instantly knew it was a Nagao pin? LOL
Davis was totally into the beautiful young women, his height, interviewing him and couldn't speak.
the anklets have almost no weight. It's almost impossible to throw them, unless you hook them 1st. Sometimes crazy things happen at the end of the match, where one guy is bummed at losing, the winner is elated, and both guys have to remove their anklets, and the ref is standing there trying to lift the hand of the winner.
Basically, it was a nothing. McKee was just dropping the anklets to the mat, and 1 (or 2) landed on Davis.
Big moment for the young guy. He looks like he is 14, and has now beaten very good wrestlers who are 5+ years older than him. Fantastic! Although, big credit to him, he certainly was not surprised that he won.Really well wrestled by Davis. Great tournament.
Not sure what to make of the post-match interview. Could read his responses 6 different ways.
Will give him the benefit of doubt and chalk it up to "winning championships is what we do"
It would be fun to watch him watch the replay of the interview. He will have plenty of time - and help - to prepare for future post-match interviews.
What a great win for him and for PSU Wrestling!

I think with that match, that Davis is 8-2 against ranked wrestlers this season
The interviewer, Hannah Mears, is a Penn State grad. She also will be the field reporter for Pirate TV games this year.
They needed to steal more signals, in order to get more W's.
I think mich has lost 8.5 point of their max of 161.5, so not clinched yet, but not sure. I think it is 150 PSU, 153 max for Mich.
And, she's a Penn Stater, class of 2020 I believe.as you would have been if a women like that showed you any interest when you were a freshman.
Penn State needed 162 to beat Michigan's max score before the finals, so we are close to having it wrapped up after scUM's loss at 133.
