The spread is currently Chiefs -1.5 pts with O/U at 49. I’m not comfortable with these numbers, especially when you consider the injuries on the Eagles roster.

1) Saquon Barkley 2) A.J. Brown 3) Dallas Goedert 4) DeVonta Smith 5) Landon Dickerson and 6) Cam Jeurgens are all nicked up and rumor has it that Smith and Juergens may not play at all. If any of this is potentially true how is the spread 1.5 points with the Chiefs at dam near at full strength.

Vegas wants it both ways, they want you to commit to a spread which assumes both teams will be at full strength come game day. I’m going to wait until this Friday before placing a bet.

What rumors about Smith and Jurgens not playing? I haven’t heard a whiff of that.

The Eagles will be at full strength in the Super Bowl.

And the first few guys on your list are not practicing for rest. That’s been the case for weeks now.

I read that over the next two weeks they will not participate in any of the practices.

You can’t be serious. Eagles have had the good fortune to be one of the teams that have had the fewest injuries this year.

It's the super bowl. Vegas just wants to split the money on both sides for this one. I wouldn't read anything into the line whatsoever. I actually have these teams pretty close to evenly power rated. I think 1.5 is the Mahomes magic tax.

As for injuries...

I saw this. Howie is on an historic run right now. I know he caveats much of what he says, but he comes off as a bit arrogant. I can see why he places poorly in these voter award contests. Ex: GM of the Year placed him 4th (absurd).
