Now this is fun. And there's so many other great plays that aren't even in this collection of top 10.

Man, NFL Films still sets THE standard….. they’re so good.

Also, I can’t watch any of these videos with Becton in them without crying. Every dam time. Fine the whole video, then you see the shot of him on the ground with his kid with that smile and tears down his face…. Gets me every time. Not ashamed to admit that as I type this I’m choking up. I can see him taking a VERY team friendly deal to stay here.

It is shocking to me Nick would not be picking his OC

Maybe i missed it, but I still don’t know who picked Brian Johnson and Sean Desai. If it was Nick, I’d say yeah he may be on time out from picking his own coordinators. If it was purely Howie I’d say yeah how doesn’t Nick get his pick.

Isn’t this what triggered Dougie Fresh’s departure from Philly?

After he won a title and Reich left, Doug felt he earned the right to hire his own OC. Lurie and Howie didn’t see it that way.

Nick’s been to two Super Bowls and won one. But I don’t see Lurie and Howie shifting their formula. Nick will have to convince them to make the hire he wants.

We were at 23rd and the BF Parkway. Great experience in the city this day. Millions of people being happy and getting along. Smell of weed the entire day so that may be why everyone was happy and chillin'. They had monitors and speakers up and down the route and at about 9:00 AM they started playing a replay of the Superbowl. Then when that was over they had a DJ playing music and everyone, and I mean everyone around us was dancing having a great time. We were not at the fence and were about 10 people deep so we could only see those on top of the busses. The players were walking along on the other side of the busses but it was a great time none the less. Trying to find a place to drink or eat afterwards was a challenge. There were some bars in Fairmount serving beer outside and had port-a-johns outside to continue the celebration. Fans passing each other high fiving and yelling Go Birds. Once we found a place to eat, the E-A-G-L-E-S chant broke out a few times and ending our long day in 30th Street station filled with Eagles fans the chants continued. Great day in the city!! Missed the 2018 Parade and didn't want to miss this one.

Question for Eagles fan... Who if anyone gets the franchise tag? Becton? Williams? Sweat? I don't see Baun getting it, I think I heard if Howie put the franchise tag on him it would be around $27 million for 1 year which is starting QB money. If that is true and that amount I think Howie let's Baun walk and see what he can get on the open market. As much as I would love for him to stay the Eagles can't keep all these players and give out big raises.

I don't know the answer but it is pretty evident the old addage of "Defense wins Championships" rings true with this years Superbowl. Thinking if Eagle defense was this good 2 years ago we would have won that Superbowl as well. I think they need to keep Baun and Williams and Sweat if they can. Seems like OL can be plug and play with how good Stoutland is able to do that with players so Becton can walk if he doesn't like winning Superbowls instead of making more money.

Most of what I’ve heard/read points to Baun’s number being $11M to $12M annually on a 2-3 year extension.

He’s a MLB and not a superstar (yet), so it’s unlikely teams will offer him $20M a year when he’s unproven outside of Fangio’s system.

The article I put in post #1458 in this thread addresses that question. I concur with the article, and don't see the Birds franchising any players.

There’s talk of Sam Darnold getting $40M a year average. Sam effing Darnold.
And that too sounds low

Interesting story on the guy off the top of my head his house was shot up in a gangland style shot out. Turns out the gang had the wrong address. One of those guys who started out sleeping in the office

Interesting that Williams has offers from numerous teams but he wishes to remain with the Eagles and values his role with the team. See if he is willing to take less and Howie can somehow make it work.
