Now this is fun. And there's so many other great plays that aren't even in this collection of top 10.
Agreed 1000%!!@Tom McAndrew with another all-time season in the books, thank you for the constant news and tweet drops in this thread. You make it a daily must-read for we Eagles fans on the board!
It’s bound to happen. It will be telling whether Patullo gets an interview in NO. All these guys have to try and capitalize on the title while it’s fresh.![]()

Iirc Andy Reid told his assistants if they got a Head job ‘ find your own coaches you aren’t taking mine’.Kellen Moore and the Saints are starting to piss me off. smh
Though I admit, Nussmeier seemed the most likely coach to depart with Moore.

Eagles lose quarterbacks coach Doug Nussmeier to Kellen Moore and Saints
The Saints are reportedly finalizing a deal with Eagles QBs coach Doug Nussmeier to be their next OC.www.nbcsportsphiladelphia.com
It is shocking to me Nick would not be picking his OC
Isn’t this what triggered Dougie Fresh’s departure from Philly?Maybe i missed it, but I still don’t know who picked Brian Johnson and Sean Desai. If it was Nick, I’d say yeah he may be on time out from picking his own coordinators. If it was purely Howie I’d say yeah how doesn’t Nick get his pick.
IMO yes that’s what triggered DougIsn’t this what triggered Dougie Fresh’s departure from Philly?
After he won a title and Reich left, Doug felt he earned the right to hire his own OC. Lurie and Howie didn’t see it that way.
Nick’s been to two Super Bowls and won one. But I don’t see Lurie and Howie shifting their formula. Nick will have to convince them to make the hire he wants.
I don't know the answer but it is pretty evident the old addage of "Defense wins Championships" rings true with this years Superbowl. Thinking if Eagle defense was this good 2 years ago we would have won that Superbowl as well. I think they need to keep Baun and Williams and Sweat if they can. Seems like OL can be plug and play with how good Stoutland is able to do that with players so Becton can walk if he doesn't like winning Superbowls instead of making more money.Question for Eagles fan... Who if anyone gets the franchise tag? Becton? Williams? Sweat? I don't see Baun getting it, I think I heard if Howie put the franchise tag on him it would be around $27 million for 1 year which is starting QB money. If that is true and that amount I think Howie let's Baun walk and see what he can get on the open market. As much as I would love for him to stay the Eagles can't keep all these players and give out big raises.
Most of what I’ve heard/read points to Baun’s number being $11M to $12M annually on a 2-3 year extension.I don't know the answer but it is pretty evident the old addage of "Defense wins Championships" rings true with this years Superbowl. Interesting that Williams has offers from numerous teams but he wishes to remain with the Eagles and values his role with the team. See if he is willing to take less and Howie can somehow make it work. The article I put in post #1458 in this thread addresses that question. I concur with the article, and don't see the Birds franchising any players.
