ESPN not showing Haines matchI don’t think ESPN wants to focus on PSU since everyone thinks this championship is PSU’s to lose, so they are going to focus on other matches.
Kasak on deck, mat one.Kasak is in the hole mat one.
Not much to wonder about: They want you to pay for ESPN+.You have to wonder why they show so much wrestlers in the tunnel/ hanging out stuff. Lots of wasted time.

Western Pa guy.Arrington is the real deal at 149 ACC Champ and beat the Ohio State guy
Don’t worry. PSU will dominate the coverage in the semis and finals.espn has been horrible..in the first 1hr and 20 minute they have had Penn State on for 1 minute of the Davis match....and the announcer is aggravating as hell. They have more commercials than they do wrestling!!!!
Kasak caught Roberts with a cow catcher but couldn't get any NF. He does turn him though for 4 NF afterwards.
EDIT - 10-0 after one. I think he got NF on the cow catcher.
Remember he’s wrestling up a weight like Bartlett did 2 years agoDoes anyone else get Andrew Alton vibes from Kasak? Just his style in general?

FWIW, If I remember correctly Kasak lost to Roberts last year wrestling for the NLWC in an open tournament as a HS Sr. Roberts had already been in the Minnesota program for a few years at that point. That’s how much Kasak has improved in a year in the PSU room. He not only caught up with Roberts, he now majored him.149 consy: Tyler Kasak vs. Drew Roberts, Minnesota
First period
There was some early posturing and then Kasak catches Roberts and throws him to his back briefly for a six-point throw and a 6-0 lead. He gets up under Roberts' arm and starts turning him with 30 seconds left in the period. He's tightening up under the chin but can't get the fall. He does get four nearfall points for a 10-0 lead after one.
Second period
Kasak did some work for turning combinations but couldn't get it, and Roberts escapes with 19 seconds left. Kasak already has the riding time point assured, however, with 2:34 in RT and just two minutes to wrestle.
Third period
Kasak down to start. He gets out and around for a reversal and a 12-1 lead. He cuts Roberts to 12-2. Roberts gets a takedown suddenly to 12-5. Kasak is out to 13-5. With 2:30 in riding time, Kasak wins 14-5.
Kasak md. Roberts, 14-5.
Didn't Lewan the Maize and Blue "no offense" guy lose a little while ago?
