It’s obvious the guy has lost all confidence starting and he does not appear to have it at all. He can’t get thru 4 innings without disaster, therefore to the bullpen he should go. Where the heck is Turnbull? Of way more concern to me is the potential ongoing “Silence of The Bats” and they better bring their hitting shoes vs the Braves and bury them now. A split or even better, a series win or sweep would make all in Phillies nation feel better.

Phillies seemed to have their mojo back and letting this guy pitch killed that mojo. Hopefully they get the mojo back against the Braves. Walker is a mojo killer

Seems to me like the Phils need to win three of four. Letting the Braves escape CBP with anything less than three losses would be a huge let down.
The Braves are five back. If the teams split then Atlanta will still be five back, now with four fewer games remaining. 2-2 is bad for Atlanta.

A big plus is that the Phillies cleared the deck of Walker yesterday while the Braves pitched Sale yesterday as well. So, the Phillies line up 1-4 for the Braves (not in order mind you) while the #1 for the Braves won’t pitch in the series. 2-2 is acceptable, 3 wins would be nice, a sweep obviously would be outstanding.

The Phillies were always winning game 1 of each series when they were rolling. Let’s get Game 1 and put the pressure on the Braves.

The Braves Laureano with a 10 pitch AB against Strahm, most of which were foul balls. Good thing that Laureano, a 2B, didn't eventually walk or get a BLOOP hit at the conclusion of the AB, because the name "Lemke" started to come to mind... 😦

Happy to see Nick getting some love. We’ve been hard on him as a fan base at times. He’s certainly earned his paycheck in recent months. Let’s keep it going.
