The 2024 U23 Nationals and the U20 WTT are the next big event on the schedule. Please use this thread to discuss this competition in advance of it, and during the competition.
Keuter U20. Kerk U23. Kerk techs the field.Gabe Arnold in at 79 kg. Could see a Ryder/Arnold best of 3? Arnold wrestling at 174# so I doubt talk of him at 184 will happen.
Keuter in at hwt. Kerk v Keuter?
Interesting Lillidahl and Sealey list NLWC while Ryder shows M2. Not a big deal.............
I think it’s just a formality. Pretty sure Kasak wrestled under M2 during his HS Sr yr while living in State College also. I can’t remember what Nick Lee listed?Interesting Lillidahl and Sealey list NLWC while Ryder shows M2. Not a big deal.............
Pretty sure thisPerhaps it has something to do with where they are in school. I believe that Lillidahl and Sealey graduated from Wyoming Sem in recent days. Ryder, by contrast, is just finishing his junior year of HS.
I don't know the USA Wrestling rules, or the NCAA rules, on when a wrestler can or can not be listed as being a part of a RTC.

I’m well aware. He was attached to M2 for open tournaments and living in State College training with M2 and NLWC.Kasak didn't wrestle in HS his Sr year.
Yeah, my read on this is its due to where he stands in terms of high school vs. college.Perhaps it has something to do with where they are in school. I believe that Lillidahl and Sealey graduated from Wyoming Sem in recent days. Ryder, by contrast, is just finishing his junior year of HS.

This is predicted seeds not predicted outcomeSeems like they are underestimating Kasak here.
I’m aware. Just seems a bit of a slight to have a U17 World Silver Medalist and True Freshman NCAA 3 rd place finisher seeded fifth, but my guess is Tyler would use that as motivation. This is predicted seeds not predicted outcome
