Pretty cool they are going to put us in their bball arena that seats 11,600. They're excited for their fans to see PSU!
And to make some extra money too, no doubt, but yeah, always cool when someone gets to pack their arena, especially for Penn State fans who might live nearby.
Same day as Day 2 of CFB Home Playoff games, which PSU FB can avoid with stellar play...
Need a Wyoming/Northern Colorado Saturday/Sunday double dip.
The fact that it’s a Saturday dual leads me to believe it’s just a one dual trip. Double dips are Friday/Sunday.
Ha, I had this same thought. Trying to cover both at the same time would be a new experience.
Unless…of course….you wanted to host the match before the game. Might be a little chilly, maybe even snowy…..
Wyoming hasn’t won a conference title since the 90s when Joe Tiller was their coach. They’re not hosting a home playoff game anytime soon.
Crazy, Trainer Dan is a miracle worker but I'm sure he has not worked on that many cases of frostbite at one time.
On second thought, it would be like a dry cold plunge.

Iowa State schedule is out. They list Ohio State as a Collegiate Wrestling Duals foe so I assume they are on the side opposite Penn State:
As for the Wyoming match, I’m not sure what time it’ll start on the east coast (there’s a two-hour time difference) but unless they’re the fastest arena turn around crew in history, I’d think 6pm ET would be the earliest with 8pm feeling more reasonable but, we’ll see.

Thankful to anyone who can gently coach me up on this one; I'm a bit lost....
Pretty sure it was 2019. Last dual of the year, at Rec Hall. Buffalo sat several of their starters. Forfeited 141 and ran out backups at 157, 165, and HWT. Two of the backups (157 and HWT) were bumped up from lower weights. Buffalo actually had pretty good starters at all 4 weights -- 3 of the 4 starters were NQs in 2019, and the other was a 2x NQ in earlier years.
That was the infamous Todrank match -- he was a backup 149 facing Jason Nolf. No wonder he decided to have fun out there.
Anyway, Cael was not happy.
Buffalo's coach was Stutzman, now back at Bloomsburg.

Building Penn State's annual wrestling schedule is not so different than the whittling down of Bassett's collegiate recruiting list. Chinese water torture, drip, drip, drip...
Ha, it is somewhat similar to kicking a school off the list each week. Of course, we're doing that closer to daily, but the painful part of both remain!
But Todrank is still doing the Ali Shuffle…oe was for a very brief moment!
