Time will tell he can still add muscle to his frame and be a 197 .Don’t know that I agree on Henckel. He’s almost 20 already and has been 79KG for two straight years. Think he’s capped at 184.
Anything can happen and he is very talented but with the current logjam I don’t see how .Does anyone see Asher getting any mat time in the next 2 years.
Transfer portal?Anything can happen and he is very talented but with the current logjam I don’t see how .
maybe at 174??? not highly likely but definitely possibleAnything can happen and he is very talented but with the current logjam I don’t see how .
Why do you see a red shirt for Ono? If he only gets 2 years why waste one?I see 133 Blaze 141 Nagao/ Davis with Ono RS. Henckel will probably be 197 before that have you seen his dad lol. Henckel just keeps growing
As of now he only gets one is what I was told . So RS this year and get acclimated to folkstyle as they fight for another yearWhy do you see a red shirt for Ono? If he only gets 2 years why waste one?
Well, it looks like Masa is at least working in some quality NIL like a college athlete should.
I get it and that could very well be possible. In fact, it probably makes us stronger right now. However, I feel like we run away with a NC this year either way. DT is building something down there in OKST... Delaying ONO and DUKE allows us to stay ahead of the curve not just now but for the next several years as well. Issue with Duke is NCAA is talking about going to 5 years of eligibility and Duke would lose a year. I'm hearing it won't be retroactive they don't want to have another situation like covid where everyone got a year back. And when your healthy and good enough you don't sit tomorrow is never a guaranteeI get it and that could very well be possible. In fact, it probably makes us stronger right now. When it's an Olympic year sure he can but that doesn't solve this year that's still a few years awayHe can take the Olympic redshirt however

Yeah, the non-retroactive part is undoubtedly the issue as it relates to making decisions now. But yeah, you'd hope that they'd get it done within the next few years. Of course, it's so simple that it continues to be astonishing that it isn't the law of the NCAA land now, but that's for another time and thread.Yes "for now" but talking to coaches the administrations and lawyers are saying it's a matter of time. And it wouldn't be retroactive. It's gonna happen in the next few years is what the administrations think
Agree it's a total mess the NCAA has messed up at every turn it seems. I can see why they don't want it being retro after the covid year messYeah, the non-retroactive part is undoubtedly the issue as it relates to making decisions now. Nothing? We know plenty about the starting lineup. 125, 149, 165, 174, 184, 197, & 285 are set and we know who the starter will be.As usual, it's October 16th and we basically know nothing about the starting lineup.
Hint: We are winning the national championship regardless of who goes![]()
Delaying Ono likely makes no difference in holding off OKST. He's not training and competing in folk during an Olympic year. And it's hard to imagine him doing folk after that, when he has max 2 yrs left starting this semester.I get it and that could very well be possible. In fact, it probably makes us stronger right now. However, I feel like we run away with a NC this year either way. DT is building something down there in OKST... Guns says Duke can use the Nagao 2025 Olympic Shirt. When it's an Olympic year sure he can but that doesn't solve this year that's still a few years away

Ah, we should pass the can for his new kidney. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who talked to Gunsie before he passed out in the parking lot of Champs last night. Gunsie told her that we are only starting eight wrestlers for each dual this year.
