That's pretty impressive to me. I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact it was two Mississippi schools facing eachother?

it was 5 dollar ticket night, and kids from high school age down got in free. If i had to guess just by looking at the people who were sitting by my seats. At least 3000 of the people there were non season tickets holders. Good idea got a decent crowd in there. I did have to tell people to move out of my seats before the game then again at halftime after going to get a drink. Only valley fans i saw were two girls sitting behind their bench.

I can remember games against USM in December that drew barely half that many just a decade ago.

The Hump seemed to be about 3/4 full which would put the crowd at around 7000 or so.

On a side note: we need to get Ravern about 30 shots a game.

they were letting in some to a lot of U17 kids in without a ticket when the game started and the line was still out in the parking lot.

looking around I would have been surprised if it was 4k empty seats...

it was a lazy atmosphere, but I really like the idea and glad I saw church vans and school buses there...

That is a good idea. We should do all our games like that over Christmas Break or when we play ****** teams. Stans says all the time "we need that hump full every night."
