A friend of mine and her kids tried to leave the fair at 4:00 on Saturday

traffic was a nightmare at times. I’m glad the things over for the year. I avoided that general area like the plague during certain hours.

Maybe it was the gates of the parking lot? Could have made them enter only for a few hours? I don’t think there is any way they held people in the fair itself because some of those people would have been heading to the game. Plus too much of a liability for the fair.

Highway Patrol don’t man the fairground gates, do they?

I’m guessing the fairgrounds personnel closed the two main gates used for game traffic (only two were open for entry per USC email with several “exit only”). And this lady didn’t think to look for the exit gates.

This story sounds like a misunderstanding, imo.
