It will get to the point the only thing left to do is stop taking portal players . Drastic measures are gonna have to be taken soon or College fb will go away.

This is pretty much normal attrition from one coaching staff to another. For all we know the new regime has had "the talk" with some of these players, and has already begun reaching out to other players in the portal who fit culture they're looking for.

Looks to me like there will be a small percentage of haves and a large percentage of have nots. even bigger split than we now have

Yes. Portal, NIL and the soon-to-be proposed new FBS division are all designed to concentrate power that the top. These changes reduce parity.

In particular, the new FBS division will function to separate the P5 revenue generators form the non-revenue generators. In other words, the Bamas from the South Carolinas.

It is minor league football now but they are still trying to incorporate the collegiate aspect of it. What a joke! Someone needs to go ahead and form a new league that will not involve higher education. Perhaps something akin to minor league baseball. Then let the colleges and universities start over with the emphasis on education and the STUDENT athlete. It would be a massive undertaking but I think we are already headed in that direction (with no direction at this point). May as well make it happen sooner than later....
