Say what you will, meth will get that weight off quick
It will (I hear), but it's gonna be hard to maintain a healthy weight while being dead.
Say what you will, meth will get that weight off quick
Doesn’t in the case of your graphI don't suggest throwing money at a problem. But spending money on problems often work.
One system is a lot more expensive with lower outcomes. Other systems have money spent on them. "Throwing money at something" isn't really an argument. It's a political point with no agree-upon definition.Doesn’t in the case of your graph
Your chart says the USA spends the most money on healthcare yes is the least healthy. One system is a lot more expensive with lower outcomes. Other systems have money spent on them. "Throwing money at something" isn't really an argument. It's a political point with no agree-upon definition.
Yeah so? Are you suggesting we spend less for better outcomes? There are reasons healthcare costs more in America and it's not because we throw money at it. We shouldn't throw money at roads, btw. I hope we don't throw money at bridges.Your chart says the USA spends the most money on healthcare yes is the least healthy.
I have no idea what your point is.Yeah so? Are you suggesting we spend less for better outcomes? There are reasons healthcare costs more in America and it's not because we throw money at it. We shouldn't throw money at roads, btw. I hope we don't throw money at bridges.
So you're saying that if you spend more money on something than another country, that means you're throwing money at it. We spend more than others on healthcare for the elderly and end of life care. Is that throwing money at it? My point is that you're making a political statement "throw money at it" instead of an argument. I'm in no way suggesting behavior and personal choices aren't part of the problem. It's possible that socialized healthcare is also just cheaper, more efficient and more costs effective.I have no idea what your point is.
There are some who always claim we need to spend more on this or that or something here or there. Well your graph is proof spending a ton of money on something doesn’t fix issues.
we spend the most on education yet we aren’t near the top.
Are you stupid? So you're saying that if you spend more money on something than another country, that means you're throwing money at it. They could be. They're the answer for a number of conditions. That' along with diet and exercise could work for a lot of Americans.I'm shocked, shocked I say, that drugs are not actually the answer to maintaining a healthy weight.
People (in general) are so 17'n stupid a whole lotta the time.
And I explained why we spend more. Imagine if we spent less and made do. It would make things so much better. Tell Americans to spend less on pharmaceuticals (which often cost more than elsewhere). They'd be better off. You're not getting my point. Tell Americans to take a pay cut. They'd be so much betterAre you stupid?
im saying according to your graph we spend more money but have the worst outcome.
so throwing money at a problem is stupid. People tend to do more with less when pushed to make it work.
I spent more money on a pasta dish in New Orleans than I did in Rome. I threw money at it in New Orleans but not in Rome. FYI, I actually didn't say spend "more" money on something.I have no idea what your point is.

Throwing money at Harvard and Yale made them great universities, btw. And America does quite well when race is disaggregated regarding educational outcomes. Whites are in the top 5 internationally and Asian Americans or either 1 or 2.

Yeah you aren’t real smart. And I explained why we spend more. Imagine if we spent less and made do. It would make things so much better. It may happen but I don't know about being covered up. A lot of morbidly obese people don't have the ability to lose weight through will power. They tried and it didn't workThere will be specific instances where the drugs make sense and help people.
There will be tremendously more instances where the pharma marketing machine cranks out a bunch of absolute BS and hurts and kills way too many people.
And most of it will be covered up.
Says the guy who regularly relies on old, predictable slogans in a discussion.Yeah you aren’t real smart.
I mean if the shoe fits wear it.Says the guy who regularly relies on old, predictable slogans in a discussion.
FYI, "you aren't real smart" should be "You aren't really smart or, better, you really aren't smart." I reckon you ain't no good at no English.I mean if the shoe fits wear it.
Cool story.FYI, "you aren't real smart" should be "You aren't really smart or, better, you really aren't smart." I reckon you ain't no good at no English.
Don't steal my use of reckon. Come up with another slogan.Cool story.
I reckon you ain’t good at logic.
I reckon I won’t.Don't steal my use of reckon. Come up with another slogan.
James Dalton begs to differBTW, pain actually hurts. It can be mild or severe or in between. It's sort of in the definition of the word. Docs often ask "on a scale of 1-10, what's your pain level."

I've seen more than a few women return to looking good.A lot more 'not morbidly obese" people are taking the dope to drop a few pounds. Gee, I hope it works out ok. Really an economical and logical way to stay in shape.
This has run its course. I haven't met that guy.James Dalton begs to differ
Says a lot about you. This has run its course. I haven't met that guy.
My next door neighbor has been in the hospital recently for about 10 days because the drug shut down his digestive systemI think we are going to look back and regret pushing those drugs for obesity. My gastro doctor highly encourages people to not go that route unless it’s a last option. It’s causing alot of gastrointestinal issues and kidney failure.
I think I could handle running 1.5 steps. A plan I might could stick with.walk 9700 steps a day and usually run 1.5 3 times a week.
But that one time with Dr. PepperI am really grateful for my health. I credit it to going to the gym six days a week. No coffee, no tea, no alcohol, no beer, no tobacco, I have not had a soft drink in six years.
That was about six years ago. I am still King of DR. Pepper. But that one time with Dr. Pepper
Sorry 1.5 milesI think I could handle running 1.5 steps. A plan I might could stick with.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Neighbeline.
Damn, I was on a loser psycho's confirmed hit list.
