we probably will have quite a few posters on this board who would tell us we will never see the sun again.

Over half the league failed to win more than 13 games. We won 17 and are comfortably in the NCAA field with a decent shot to host.

This is why message board bitching when we go 9-21 is meaningless. Some people are going to ***** no matter what. I honestly don’t think the bitching has decreased over the last year, which is amazing.

Teams we beat were 4 games under .500 vs us, .500 vs each other, and 13-41 vs the teams we didn’t play. With the schedules as unbalanced as they are, conference records aren’t necessarily comparable. Swap KY & TN for MO & Vandy & we’re probably 14-16 and have a much better RPI.

Meh. A 30-game schedule against 10 of 13 SEC teams is what it is. Our 17-13 record doesn’t have an asterisk because we played Florida and Vandy instead of Kentucky and Tennessee.

13-17 SEC teams would compete to win just about every other conference. Two of them faced off in the CWS championship series last year.

Donors and alums willing to accept mediocrity is absolutely amazing, considering they can admit we are historically better than most.

You seem to think being pretty good is mediocre and you can just snap your fingers and be excellent.

Not really how it works. New coaches are very often not an improvement.
