AKB: Golf in the ATL

Heading down Thursday for Auburn game. Flying into ATL. Was thinking of playing golf in the ATL area on Friday AM. Does not have to be a great course. But would prefer to rent clubs rather than drag mine to/from ATL

Anyone have recommendations? TIA.

Back in the late 80’s I remember playing the course that Georgia Tech used. Pretty nice but a long time ago. If golf does not work out Atlanta has some great strip clubs!!

Probably won’t help, but Alabama has built the “Robert Trent Jones Trail”. I think there are 8-10 RTJ complexes around Alabama and each has multiple courses. One of the complexes, Grand National, is very near Auburn. Didn’t play it, but drove out there and it looked first class. However, it is likely sold out and has jacked up prices for game weekends.

Lol...It is about 2 hours and fifteen minutes east of ATL
