Personally, I don't know. BUT,I do KNOW this; whatever it was, they need to take the same approach next week.
I will be sure to correct my nephew. SMHI don't see anybody claiming that. But ask the coaches how they feel about fan support during tough times and see what they say. Ask them how they feel about constantly crying and complaining negativity around a program. I know what they will say.
I will be sure to correct my nephew. SMH
Past 15+ seasons. To be honest, I don't ever remember an offensive performance like last night. What's unreal is the offensive performance last night that was unlike anything we have had the past 2 seasons.
Don’t be so literal. Pumpers like to degrade actual fans who are so passionate, they bleed out their anus when the team is SUCKING. Pumpers are just weirdos, with irrational hopes and dreams; no one takes them seriously. Anyway, last night was a dream! Hopefully Rattler has turned a corner.I don't see anybody claiming that. But ask the coaches how they feel about fan support during tough times and see what they say. Ask them how they feel about constantly crying and complaining negativity around a program. I know what they will say.
I go back to 1964 following this program. It's the best offensive game we have played in my memory. Now, Holtz was right about one thing - and we've seen it borne out in the SEC this year. "Things are never as good as they seem; things are never as bad as they seem." We have lived out that maxim over the course of the past seven days.Past 15+ seasons. To be honest, I don't ever remember an offensive performance like last night.
As has always been the case for any sports team, their fate is in their own hands. To think differently, is actually a loser's mentality.go watch last night's post game as Beamer railed on the media for their negativity all week.
Like he said, they don't get to write the story of this team. And neither to a bunch of crybaby losers on this board.
No one is a "hater" here. Everyone here wants the best for South Carolina football. The offense has been a concern for the past 2 seasons. Even after last night's performance, the offense is only 77th in the nation out of 131 teams. That's average. And never, never in Satterfield's time as OC at Temple, as well as here, has he ever produced a Top 50 offense. EVER!!! I am very happy about last night's game. That being said, I did not recognize last night's offense. I received a text from someone on another site saying that an "insider" stated he does not believe that the game plan nor play-calling was done by Satterfield. Sources said it was a "team effort", with play-calling being made from the booth. Personally, I don't know. BUT,I do KNOW this; whatever it was, they need to take the same approach next week.
I guess you and your sources think you know better than Beamer?
I’m not going to call out individual posters but their were several saying Beamer, Tanner, and the whole staff needed to goWho was calling for an entire overhaul?
No doubt. I realize the majority of posters calling for an OC change didn’t also call for HC change but there were more than a couple stating exactly what I posted.Wingchun I usually agree with your posts...but not this one. Most of the fans on here have been complaining about the complexity and lack of creativity with the OC and his playcalling. Last night was a pleasant surprise....but where the heck has that been all year? It appeared that the reads had been simplified and Rattler was playing much faster...especially in decision-making. If we had that kind of playcalling all year....no one would be complaining.
Well as far as against UT is concerned, it has NEVER happened from another SEC team. Not even Spurrier and his UF teamsPast 15+ seasons. To be honest, I don't ever remember an offensive performance like last night.
I agree. I'm curious about your nickname though. Why Wingchun Cock? Do you study Wing chun?Having doubts is one thing, but calling for a complete overhaul of the staff is quite another, and way to many people were trashing the entire staff and University
What's unreal is the offensive performance last night that was unlike anything we have had the past 2 seasons.
Nobody is downplaying a great victory last night but looking at the season as a whole and long term.Choosing to downplay the excellent performance last night is glass half empty thinking. This was SR’s 11th game in Satt’s system. Maybe the light finally came on for him. In law school, we used to prep for finals. You started w/ a “C” understanding. In trying to get to an “A” understanding, you might get lost & have less than a “C” understanding. If your exam time caught you “in the sub-‘C’ wilderness”, you did poorly. That’s my take.
We’ll see next Saturday at noon.
The other theory is that we’re a better team at home & at night.
UF has been much better at home all year. JMHO.
I’m not going to call out individual posters but their were several saying Beamer, Tanner, and the whole staff needed to go
The bottom-line is that Beamer will decide Satterfield's fate at the end of the season. One poster said last week that Satterfield and Adkins were the only coaches on the staff not to get a contract extension and pay raise after last season. If true, that tells me that Beamer is aware of problems that have been on offense. This is one of those "Stay Tuned" situations. No doubt. I realize the majority of posters calling for an OC change didn’t also call for HC change but there were more than a couple stating exactly what I posted.
And you should go back and read that Chris Clark posted what Beamer said long AFTER I quoted my nephew. Then you should be happy instead of trying to find was to crap on the coach and spread rumors that the coach outright disputes.

Yes, I trained in Wing Chun for about 9 years, under Francis Fong and Ip Ching organization here in the US.I agree. I'm curious about your nickname though. Why Wingchun Cock? Do you study Wing chun?
Yep, as it should be.The bottom-line is that Beamer will decide Satterfield's fate at the end of the season. Awesome! I had the privilege of training with Master Fong this past summer in Cola. I also went to a seminar with Garner Pain in Charlotte this year. I like Wing Chun. I practice MMA but my Soke and I work on WC on our time.Yes, I trained in Wing Chun for about 9 years, under Francis Fong and Ip Ching organization here in the US.
Coaches are paid a lot of money to win games being played for entertainment. If you want to get technical, they work for us. We owe them nothing. I don’t recall seeing posts calling for a complete overhaul. I’ve seen posts calling for Satt to be gone, and I’ve seen a few calling out at times the OL, DL and LBs. I’ve also seen some questioning why not more Doty and Dak. Nothing different than any other fan base.I don't see anybody claiming that. But ask the coaches how they feel about fan support during tough times and see what they say. Ask them how they feel about constantly crying and complaining negativity around a program. I know what they will say.
Simplifying the plays on a pro-style offense by getting rid of the variations to the plays can make it much easier for both the oline and the QB because there are fewer, if any, reads that need to be made. Both are on the same page and don't have to read the defense and can simply react. One purpose of the spread is to take out those reads in the first place....just run the play called...no variations. It was the Oline. Watch the games.
Did you go to Mark Mills school in Lexington for the Francis Fong seminar?Awesome! I had the privilege of training with Master Fong this past summer in Cola. I also went to a seminar with Garner Pain in Charlotte this year. I like Wing Chun. I practice MMA but my Soke and I work on WC on our time.
This is exactly what I am talking about. You know nothing about the game. You ACTUALLY THINK your self agrandizing posts supposedly help us IN ANYWAY???? You and your gangs are the definition of self righteous. I pay all this money blah blah blah, coaches make these huge salaries they have to win blah blah, players can’t play, coaches can’t coach, our team sucks blah blah blah. This is the definition of self righteousness and entitlement. Y’all are so blind to your need of public adoration you bask in the power of criticism and debasement of people LITERALLY DEVOTING THEIR LIVES AND CAREERS TO ACTUALLY SACRIFICE TO PLAY AND WIN GAMES!!!! You think your opinion is worth more than a player who is in pain on Sunday morning and needs treatment just to get out of bed. I think y’all have lowered the bar for the definition of snowflakes. Just go away. Keep your money and your hate and the team will be better off in my opinion. You think your hate won the game Saturday? You think Rattler played that way to gain your approval?I absolutely loathe self righteous pumpers. The fact is, this football program has A LOT of growing to do, and last night was COMPLETELY unexpected. Don’t act like Satterfield and Rattler came alive because of your fan support, lol.
Yes I did.Did you go to Mark Mills school in Lexington for the Francis Fong seminar?
A spirited if futile post. This is exactly what I am talking about. You know nothing about the game. You ACTUALLY THINK your self agrandizing posts supposedly help us IN ANYWAY???? I trained with Mark before moving to Idaho. Then I trained under IP Ching organizationYes I did.
I think it was a combination of simplifying things and our QB was on fire. That’s a good combinationSimplifying the plays on a pro-style offense by getting rid of the variations to the plays can make it much easier for both the oline and the QB because there are fewer, if any, reads that need to be made. Both are on the same page and don't have to read the defense and can simply react. One purpose of the spread is to take out those reads in the first place....just run the play called...no variations.
And I did watch the game....from the stands. Could easily see each play develop.
I train with Soke Matt Avant at Toe 2 Toe MMA. He trained under Garner Train who of course is a student of Ip Ching. Matt also trained with Master Fong for a short time.I trained with Mark before moving to Idaho. Then I trained under IP Ching organization
Like some lowcountry radio hosts.Ah, the superfan demanding everyone else disappear. If they had their way there would probably be about 200 fans in the stands.
Everybody Wing Chun tonight.Yes, I trained in Wing Chun for about 9 years, under Francis Fong and Ip Ching organization here in the US.
Same...and SB. SB goes hand and hand with this OC....and one game this year ain't enough to save that job. It's off with the OC or else spotlight becomes bright on Beamer and his decision making process. Our offense is a problem...obviously.My one and only issue has been with the OC. Our offense has not shown any signs until last night. Would love to know what changed.
The best thing would be if validation were to come. But validation lies in the future, starting Saturday.Same...and SB. Agree, one game is not validation. The best thing would be if validation were to come. But validation lies in the future, starting Saturday.
Oh, so it’s the “realists” that are the true fans. Kind of like calling a socialist democrat “progressive……….I call it oxymoron but I guess you need two words for that.Don’t be so literal. Pumpers like to degrade actual fans who are so passionate, they bleed out their anus when the team is SUCKING. Pumpers are just weirdos, with irrational hopes and dreams; no one takes them seriously.
