Am I mistaken, or were Kodi and Phil on the floor at the same time last night?

Probably. Just like they were on the floor together against Houston, before Coach34 gave Stans some pointers.

To cover my ***: I make this statement based on what I read here during/after the Houston game and not based on personal knowledge.

For my next improvement, I'm going to get him to install some diagonal cuts with backscreens for our 4-out offense

Just watching Kodi last night, there were times where he looked like the worst player on the floor for us. He has done nothing but hang around the three point line lately. He also got killed rebounding in the first half. I am not sure how talented he really is. He seems slow this year to me.

That's equal fault on player and coach. Player for the attitude and the laziness and the coach for not finding the way to motivate him.

he sat him. Heck the guy was starting as a sophomore. He only has himself to thank for his demotion last year. I think he doing fine this year although he is still not the model of consistency. I do blame Coach Stansbury for not playing him more at the 5 against smaller lineups this year as he has a good combination of quickness, size and skill.

Ridiculous.

BTW, your boy Walt was waived on 10/26, and I can't find him on anyone's roster. This after his stellar rookie year in which he played a total of 20 minutes in 8 games.

And coach could have him setting those backscreens if he could find him every once in a while.

I coached twice as long in public school as I did in private, and based on what Prep is doing to the public schools, you better hope they dont make the switch and start imposing their will.

he looked like the most talented player I had ever seen where an MSU jersey except for Donta Jones. I think him giving about half a **** would have been enough to make him significantly better than Rhodes.

He only started playing more when Bailey got hurt. What got motivated was Stansbury got motivated to win and realized that attitude and all Kodi could help him do that.
