Bud, I already said he probably wouldn’t have said this to a P5 school!!! As for sports I played baseball and football. You my friend appear to be more of a slow pitch softball guy! Again my friend taunting is taunting no matter how you decide to communicate it! On the field, by land line, cellphone, internet, text, U.S. mail, face to face off the field, face to face off the field, by messenger, etc!!!!

Meh. I think the idea of "bulletin board material" is overrated. I'm not an advocate of trash talking, but if somebody is waiting until the Wednesday before the game to find their motivation, they are already behind. Everybody is motivated to win on gameday. Real motivation is what propels you to put in all the necessary work in the off-season to be the best. I don't think anybody ever lost a contest _because_ they talked trash before it.

It's amazing to me that the biggest storyline in our forum is people complaining about possibly ill-advised the comments of one of our 18 - 20 year old players rather than the excitement for the upcoming game and season. This board has basically been crickets for months, and now all the complainers are out in force and we haven't played a down of football yet. So the kid said something brash. Big. effing. deal. It's football. kids are supposed to give each other bulletin board material. It's sports. good grief. How about find something positive to say instead of picking at the most meaningless little things.

All the years under muschamp were terrible non disciplined teams. A year or so under spurrier, all the holtz leftovers. Looks like you just wanna argue about it though. Go bark at someone else. And you are correct, there’s no place for that and if I were the coach that player wouldn’t see the field again for me. But wait, wasn’t that pretty much what happened and that player transferred out.
