To be fair, we’re 111th in TOP. A testament to our defense’s inability to get off the field. Hard for the offense to score points when they don’t have the ball.

TOP is a pretty meaningless stat for an offense that snaps the ball as quickly as we do. We're 7th in the SEC in total plays run.

Weaker teams, top teams, we are still 1-7 regardless. Our 1 win is against a 4-4 team from the United Athletic Conference (which I had never heard of until just now) with their other losses to Southern Utah, Abilene Christian and W KY.

AZ St is 5-2 in the Big 12 Toledo 5-3. We don't beat either one of them if we played again now with our defense. We might have enough athletes to beat one of the worst teams in the country the past decade this weekend but reality will return the following week against TN

But we didn't intercept two, but we didn't make the fake punt. We don't tackle, we don't block. "If we play Az or Toledo", but we did and SUCKED, Toledo beat us like a drum by 24 and it was early in their season too. We've had 8 opportunities and only made good on 1. I want us to be good, I want us to win, but we aren't good and don't win. If we don't beat this bunch Saturday our program is at an all time low. If we barely beat them, we are still close if not there.

Remember Az and Toledo both left quite a few points on the field also. The results should have been worse than displayed.

I believe Jefferson threw that game for whatever reason. Don't know if he was paid or if he was mad at someone on the coaching staff. If he played a half of football they would have won last year.

He definitely didn’t seem himself that game, seems like many thought he was not 100%. Weird win for us that game was.
