Texas in the houseIf the Carolinas ever get Taco Cabana that’s where it’s at . Hours are 24-7. Many a late night have stopped there.

I just want to say, I love that the Whataburger thread has this much activity, this many days later

I remember driving through Corpus Christi and counting the number of Whataburgers and thinking, “no way”. Then we stopped and got Whataburger.Texas in the house

I haven't read this whole thread and maybe this has already been commented on but the Whataburger was on Meeting Street in the sixties and probably earlier too.Any Columbia long-timers - I just had a random flashback to my youth - was there once a Whataburger on either Knox Abbott or Meeting in the mid or late 1980s?
Damn gross....Best fries and onion rings are hands down "the Beacon" in Spartanburg. I know it's not a chain but if you're ever in the Upstate, it's a must stop...Meat & 3 "Wade's" in Spartanburg is hands down the best.
Love, love, love the Beacon's Mayo Chilli Cheese burger a plenty.
Love, love, love Wade's Steak and Gravy and Peanut Butter Pie.
The Flounder Fish Camp a little futher up I26 at the old Waccamaw Pottery exit has the best Salmon Stew.
