Some of y’all believe turning around a program is easy. We SUCKED under Muschamp. Beamer is in year 2 and is building a foundation right now…NOT a championship team this year. It’s baby steps for college. Spurrier wasn’t very good in his first couple years either and there were people who wanted him gone in year 4 because he hadn’t done anything special like they thought.
Some of y’all complain about everything and unfortunately the fact Javon Kinlaw and Deebo Samuels called South Carolina fans awful is truth compared to the expectations of this board. If this is year 4/5 and we look like this then I’ll join you in the complaining. But be realistic and have some damn patience until then.
if former or especially current players have time to read this message board, then one thing is certain: Their priorities are way out of whack. Get on the d#mn practice field and get better so you can do your best in front of 80k people every Saturday night.
When I hear that dumb A excuse I always think of that scene in Jerry Maguire where the football player being interviewed, and is crying while saying "people just don't understand the pressures that 45 million brings". Poor guys...time of their life, world at their fingertips...and they r
eally care about what we say? Trust me - they've heard much, much worse in their own households and in football programs growing up (yes I generalized about that...and it's 100% true...unless we have a bunch of the elusive type B football players that come from houses /football programs that
don't stress working hard, grinding, or having big expectations).
