I’m really anal about my formatting and my English usage and since I invariably post from my phone it’s often convenient for me to delete a post and start over again.
I second this!

I fifth this idea. I'm new to posting and not adept at navigating, at least not yet. I did a double post accidentally yesterday and would have liked to have deleted one of them.

Help me out a bit here.

Moderators have extra options available on their screen, so I don't know exactly what folks do or do not see on their screen.

On Rivals, I could log out and view things as a non-moderator to check on things. Alas, you have to be registered with On3 to be able to view posts, so that's not an option.

Is there a delete button available for your own posts when viewing from a computer?

Tom, I managed to solve my issue. I replied to a post and somehow had the post I was responding to appear twice, once with my response, once without. I clicked the edit button, backspaced out the repeated text, and the whole thing disappeared. I have no idea why. Just guessed right.

Can’t you create a second account that allows you to view things as we see them?

I access this site solely from my smartphone. At the bottom of my posts there is a ... button which opens to “More Options” and this brings up an Edit button, nothing else. No delete button that I can find. There is a stand-alone Report button.

Tom,

Pardon me for highjacking this discussion, but I need help on a different matter. When I post, a small version of my avatar appears on the avatar of the original poster. I confess to being technologically challenged and thus have no idea why this is happening. I don't see it on other peoples' posts. Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Can you provide me with some additional info? Like:

- is this happening on a SmartPhone or a computer?
- Are you talking about the small avatar at the bottom of the avatar of the original poster?

It’s a hack to remind you that you’ve participated in that particular thread.

Have you ever pondered the importance of commas and periods? 🤷‍♂️

I thought so you meant we could delete Bob92's posts....but I see your point too. ;)

Back in the day, weren't you The Grim Reaper, suggesting that Pittboys head on home? For some reason, I always thought that was you.
That was back in the designer handle days. You could use a different handle at will.

I would also like the scrolling back button so you can get back to the board without having to scroll all the way to the top or bottom of the thread.

You know....for those times when you click on a thread called "Boobs" and it turns out to be about Rutgres fans and you're halfway through the thread and realize it's not about....well...you know

I would like a quick and easy way to see poll results from the last post (or wherever I am in the thread) and then toggle back to the last post.

@LionJim -- when I submitted a general request to my contact at On3 about a delete post button/option, I bundled it with several other items that I wanted to pass along after one month of being on this site. As such, it took some time for my contact to get back to me, as they were checking on all the things I suggested, asked about, etc. On3 made the decision to disable the delete function for posters. They may revisit that in the future, but it does not look as though it will be changing anytime in the future. They did mention (and I was not aware of) that posters could edit a post up to 1 minute after posting. Sorry that I don't have better news for you.

@psuro (and others) -- as you know, sig pics are also currently disabled. It is something that is being investigated. The expectation is that at some point in 2022 it will be enabled; I have no clue when. Hopefully, in the coming months they can resolve some of the things that have caused On3 to not enable this feature.

As always, if any of you have suggestions for improvements to the board, or issues you are encountering, please post about them, and I'll pass them along, and let you know what I'm told.

While we're waiting for future schedules to be available as a drop down option on the top menu, can you pin a thread at the top with this information like you did on Rivals?

@Tom McAndrew You tried, thanks for that. We’ll muddle through somehow. Oh, here’s a thought: did you mention that I’m a Neshaminy graduate? I’ve found that this little tidbit often opens ostensibly closed doors. Maybe worth a shot?
