Let’s see if we can keep our coach.
Why would he go to Auburn? That would be a lateral move at best. It’s not like schools are throwing huge contracts at women’s soccer coaches. He will never get the support at Auburn that he will get here. We had over 4,000 people for the tournament games. Auburn’s announced attendance for their first round ncaa tournament game was 551. Even if they got to number 1, they probably wouldn’t have half the crowd we did for our tournament games.

I wish this were true bc I loathe Auburn. But they have supported softball and gymnastics incredibly well, especially when winning. And have sold out women’s basketball as recently as last year I believe when they beat Kramer’s mom and LSU.

They definitely rally around their winners.

I hope and think James sticks around in Starkville though. He can build something here.

If he gets him, Cohen’s diploma should be revoked/rescinded/whatever.
The self-proclaimed "smartest guy in the room" seems to have a very limited rolodex of contacts when he needs to fill a position that includes only current MSU coaches & former Ole Miss coaches.
