So much craziness. I started a thread evaluating all the scenarios, but there are too many to even wrap my head around, lol. If we win out, if Tennessee loses to UK, if we go 1-1 or 0-2, if Bama loses to UF, if Bama beats UF, etc...

Suffice it to say, tonight's Bama/UF game is huge. UF enters a 1.5 point favorite.

SEC couldn't have drawn up a better finish. In the last week of the season there are 5 games between teams duking it out for top 4 spots.

100% agree! So many story lines. I think an interesting story line is UK trying to keep up with programs like Bama, AU, & USC. UK was not expected to have a down year this year.

I think it would have been better to see on the last game of the season have Alabama vs Auburn and Mississippi State vs Mississippi. The season should end with a rivalry game. They did get it right with the Kentucky vs Tennessee game this Saturday.

I don't really think there's much in the way of rivalry games in the SEC in basketball. Even with us, our fans care far less about the Clemson basketball game than football.

I'll be thrilled with just being #4 with a double bye. That would have to rank as one of the greatest and unpredicted turn arounds in SEC history, if not beyond.

The last 2 regular seasons games are huge for winning or co- winning the conference, nice banner to hang, but more important is how we do in the Dance. This team could be special because of guard play but we might struggle against teams with strong front lines. I didn’t realize it until I went to the UF game and saw how ineffective Mack was against taller players. He’s got to start hitting the outside shot, or else his 6’8 size hurts us at the 5 against big teams. Maybe better off playing Gray to protect the rim. Mack can’t and he isn’t scoring. If he isn’t hitting jump shots he’s no use to us. I trust Paris to figure it out like he did against UF. I hope Mack finds his shot but us going forward this is on guard play and CMB, and I’m ok with that.

Agreed but part of the reason is that we both are normally mediocre at best and they normally play before football ends.

Secondly, not many care about an SEC championship. It would be nice but we are playing for seeding. Football won't be much different with the expanded playoffs. The championship game will be for playoff seeding.
