Not sure if that was a wise comment. I know sometimes it's a strategic thing with coaches but IMHO, Shane hasn't proven that he's capable of that level of strategy and furthermore, it sets us up huge to get egg on our faces next week.

I think it's a pretty common strategic move used to motivate one's team and certainly not new.
Seemed to work this week.
I don't think he's pushing to be ranked but it is probably inevitable.
