Do we know that Jimmy used vacuum cleaner and not witness protection?
Saul calls him at one point in season 5 (maybe 4?). He's going to change IDs again, but then calls him back and says nevermind.

Played by Robert Forrester (RIP) and also featured a bit in El Camino.

Yeah, and how Gene going to take care of it? There are only six episodes after next week’s mid-season finale and you have to ask yourself how this will play out.

Yes, he was going to get cleaned in BB, but didn’t go through with it. Do we ever see Saul call the cleaner in the end of BB?

Saul is cleaned in BB and is sent to Omaha. (Remember the confrontation he had with Walter in the Ed the Cleaner's basement while Walt was waiting to be sent to NH?) He (Omaha Gene) called Ed the Cleaner again in BCS Season 5.1 after being made but decided against that, which is what Grant was talking about.

Clarification.

Alrighty, trivia time. Compare and contrast Francesca’s reluctance to call HHM to get Saul into the Sandpiper settlement conference call to her making what similar sort of phone call in Breaking Bad?

Hank had Walt and Jesse cornered in the RV and Saul has Francesca call Hank pretending to be a nurse at the hospital and tells Hank his wife, Marie, has been injured in an accident, subsequently Hank leaves the stake out.

…the RV gets compacted, Hank beats up Jesse, and Jesse classically goes off:

Walter White: Jesse, move on with your life. Leave it behind, all of it.
Jesse Pinkman: Nothing changes. Once I walk out of here, I get myself a new RV and go start cooking again.
Walter White: How, exactly, do you think you're going to get away with that? They will catch you.
Jesse Pinkman: So what? I've got a get out of jail free card.
Saul Goodman: Hey, I may have overstated the power of your face...
Jesse Pinkman: Not this. If the cops catch me, I give them what they want the most.
Jesse Pinkman: [turns to Walter] You. If they nab me, I make a deal to give up the great Heisenberg and his million dollar drug ring. You're my free pass, *****.

My take: Jimmy’s and Kim’s last drink together will be the Zafiro Anejo tequila he bought in E6.6. This portends to sooner rather than later for Kim. Word is that E6.7, next up, will contain a “cliffhanger.” (E6.7 is the mid-season finale.) It’s going to be Kim, or Lalo. Much less likely would be something involving Omaha Gene, somehow.

I still haven't convinced you that Kim is around for Breaking Bad, eh?

At this point she’s definitely in the game. She’s so much smarter than Saul that you have to think that she’ll survive into BB since Saul himself did. Short of being the cartel’s lawyer, I don’t see how she can manage this, though. Kim’s mom “recused” her from the shoplifting situation and perhaps she has another “recuser” waiting for her who, like her mother, is a POS.

Ask me a math question and I’ll give you a better answer.

Perhaps she buys the black book. Much like Gus and Caldera, she maintains a profile of legit professional (keeps doing her pro bono work) while actually being a puppet master. I can even see a scenario where she is still in NM after Saul has to bolt for Omaha. I think the scene where they are removing only male clothes from Saul's house is another Gilligan red herring. He likes to make it look like they can't possibly still be together in BB.

Right now I’m thinking that in Breaking Bad it’s Saul who has the black book. If he doesn’t have the black book he does have Ed the Cleaner’s card. I’ll check to see if the black book makes an appearance in BB; if it does it can only be in one of two places.

Howard. Look how coldly he interacts with his soon to be ex-wife. Definitely Howard.
Why bother bringing in Howard’s wife in the first place if this isn’t going to lead anywhere? Howard’s our wild card.

The feds find the little black book in Saul’s house in E6.1.

He didn't buy the bottle in 6.6, left it on the counter after seeing the mediator(?) and rushed out

They tossed it into a box with a bunch of balls and stuffed toys. I am beginning to think the Zafiro top that fell out of the dresser may have been used to kill Lalo. Remember the liquor store clerk told Saul that the top was very sharp and to be careful. He said that for a reason!!

Yep, I just now checked and it’s on the counter as Casimiro leaves the store. Freaking G&G, constantly leading us down blind alleys.

So now since he goes back to the store to buy the Zafiro Anejo, this tells us what? That he and Kim pull it off? I’m leaning that way. Freaking G&G, complete azzholes.

Someone is dying tonight (Howard IMO) and Walter and Jesse make a cameo. Root cause, Kim’s insistence on roasting Howard and this totally alters her and Jimmy’s relationship.

I’m trying to mesh this scenario with the dialogue between Cliff and Howard in the trailer, “Are you building the case against Jimmy?” “I’m just getting warmed up.” The con with Casimiro is happening pretty much immediately.

This is pretty good.

Some highlights, which I hadn’t noticed. Lalo’s double was always there for him, which is an obvious thing if you think about it. Edit: Once you do realize this, you think, boy, you already knew Lalo was evil incarnate and now this?

In the present time, Kim wears the earrings and necklace her mother stole.

I read this today and was thinking of this thread. The necklace thing was a crazy fact

Oh fuuuuu….***!!!!
SPOILER:

(I'm giving up on using the Spoiler feature tonight).

Rather Ozarkesque, but it worked. The shock value was through the roof. Amazing that HH had it all figured out accurately - a step behind, but he knew what had happened all along the way. His failure was not thinking ahead, as the more sinister characters do so well. Checkers vs. chess, as they say.

Lalo, hoo boy! Always a step ahead. Figuring out that the phone was bugged allows him to run some trickeration. His smarts vs. Saul's and Kim's vs. Gus's and Mike's.... wow. That makes for some great TV.

Futile wish of the evening:
Save Kim and spin her off!
