Hubert Davis never was paid that much and his buyout is like 5 mil. His first contract was only 10 million over 5 years!!!!! That's exactly all pope should have got too and would have crawled to UK for it like Davis did...but Mitch is an idiot, so we have like 17 plus mil buyout plus 1 yr extensions just for sweet 16s adding to buyout.

If Billy D goes to Knsas or UNC**, how bad will that look when it could have been us.

The portal closes on the 21st. That could certainly make things difficult or more complicated. They might need to wrap him up before the end of the Bulls season. Donovan has a close relationship with bulls owner Reinsdorf so they may reach a deal and release him early.

He wanted out of college bc he hated recruiting, but hes missed the playoffs 5 of the last 6 years in the nba so he may be forced to realize hes not good up there. His first season in the nba at okc was really his only good one

The "portal" is just an online database.

When it closes is not nearly as important as when all the good players pick schools.

Supposedly the current UNC GM is still working. So I'm sure he will be talking with agents to keep us in the hunt for players.
