His whole stance is State has a lame gameday because of logos, LEDs and speakers. It's all petty.
Logos is a personal preference. We had one night game this year, EKU. I can hear the rap music and 4th Q song just fine. I don't get the problem there either.
...and the dude has been given the logo. A game last year. On merchandise.... he is just never happy.
It's also convenient that he says the AD serves up crap and calls it ice cream. That's his opinion. Some people like what the University serves up.

Anyways, he is on public radio, heard by all of Mississippi and once again he just gripes about all things Mississippi State. It's one thing to have your opinions and express them in your friend group or privately but this dude is very publicly crapping on Mississippi State.

1) He did not say that our AD is serving up crap. He said that we have a lot of fans that can be served crap with a spoon, and they’d eat it up because they’ll never question anything that MSU does. He’s also not wrong
2) It’s fitting that you bring up Lebby/Hutzler because there’s a perfect example of fans being served an absolute **** sandwich and told to enjoy it. Behind door #1, fire him and owe $2M that we don’t have. Or door #2, keep on keepin’ on and hope that our 130th ranked defense can improve to Sirmon level of a$$ next season. Oh, and please send more money
3) I have listened to T&L for years, and when there is something enjoyable going on, Hadad is our biggest cheerleader. Put the worst product on the field that many of us have seen in our lifetimes, however, and you’re gonna hear about it. Details matter, and when you’re staring 2-10 or god forbid 1-11 in the face, fans are gonna pay attention to them
As long as that plan involves firing him no later than December 2, I can live with it. I'd prefer he fire him (checks watch, it's 3:04PM) at 3:05PM though.

Mississippi State has done an exceptional job of "very publicly crapping" on itself the last two seasons in football as well as the Moorhead saga, the last 3 baseball seasons, and before Jans the Rick Ray and Howland decade. You think "all of Mississippi" didn't notice that and talk publicly about it?

This debate about fan engagement and atmosphere is all just a bunch of ********. If we were winning football games instead getting the stem-winding **** beat out us by the Toledo Rockets, nobody would be talking about this. You think anyone really cared about the lights or the goddamned sound system when we beat Texas A&M and Auburn in back to back weeks and were ranked # 1 in the country? Come on. Just give us a a 7 win team with a solid and aggressive defense and a lot of this talk will go by the wayside.
Winning masks things for sure but some of these issues have been going on for years and it only gets worse. The lighting and PA in the stadium are pathetic. It’s just not a good product right now.
We are divided by age I’m afraid. In my experience it’s the older fans/alum that feel this way. Also the university issued boot lickers that are out there but mostly the older generation. Older alum have money but don’t care about the little things. The younger consumer cares but doesn't have the funding that the silver dawgs have. These are the people who make the difference right? The ones spending or not spending money. This is just how I feel. If we had all these things that we currently lack, the older generation wouldn’t know/care. But they hear about the rest of us complaining and all they know is that we are losing and think we need to shut up and get up earlier and milk the cows like they used to.
Question: When sky daddy's natural lighting is shining the majority of our games what purposes does LED lights serve?
Well, I’m 63 and don’t know if all you said is true or not. I’m still interested in exactly the same things I was 40 years ago. Listen to the same music, get a chill when the jets fly over, would love LED lighting, and wish all the games were at night. I still love a big tailgating day where I can drink and laugh it up all day before going into the game. I like the music loud and nonstop in the games. Hate it when we we only ring and don’t yell, and nobody stands up during the game! Our opponents fans stand! Hate the fact that we still have no seating or bowl in the SEZ.
