Smoking dope in the locker room. Screwing in the training
I saw the smoking weed thing and screwing too. Before the game I believe. If true he’s lost the team by a much bigger margin than I thought. Big question is this: Is it worth the $95 or $85 million buyout to tell him to kick rocks up the road?

A&M can afford the buyout, no question about that. It’s really just the optics.

Wait, the rumor is that he had players smoking weed and having sex before the game? In columbia?

There should be a way to fire a coach without having to pay the buyout under certain conditions. It’s aTm’s problem though and I think it’s hilarious. we had our own massively botched hire crap-show with Muschamp.

Schools need to start putting in clauses to help protect themselves if things go off the rails.
Even a CEO or Supreme Court Justice can be removed for free. These buyouts are completely incomprehensible to me. True corruption and foolishness.

Problem is that it gets way too subjective to define what "off the rails" means. Buyouts are there to protect coaches from schools giving in to antsy fan bases and making knee-jerk reactions. For sure, the buyout money has gotten out of hand, Jimbo's being the most extreme example, so I think schools certainly should show more restraint there. But, if you really want a coach, one way to is offer him financial security and buyouts do that.
