I don't care what you say based off of these past 3 weeks. Just because the receiving corps is better than what it was last year doesn't mean it's spectacular.
and there are more of them, but they are not better than last year by any stretch. They can't get separation and they can't catch more than about 40% of the balls that they get a hand on.
The players haven't progressed near as much as I'd expect them to, but the depth at wide receiver makes our passing attack better than what it was, especially this time last year. I just can't agree that we're not better when we're deeper there.

They can't catch a cold. Ballard was our leading receiver coming into the game with 8 catches on the year through 3 games. They are not better. We have a bunch of warm bodies, but we don't have depth because if we did we would find somebody that COULD 17ING PRODUCE!!
We've had 15 players who've touched the ball at least once and 8 who's touched the ball more than 3 times. Hell, including Ballard, we've had 5 that touched the ball 5+ times. It's not unheard of to have your running back leading in receptions. The way plays are designed it can be easier for them to get the ball through the air.
