I liked the idea of this film extremely!! Part of my youth and a history of rock and albums in the 70’s. It is a terrific portrait of creativity, well worth the watch if you are a music fan!

Cole Hauser, Stephen Dorff, in theaters but lukewarm reviews, but then again the BWI board loves its westerns

The more movies that are coming out in the theaters, the more I miss John Hughes's filmmaking.

New Emma Stone film (Poor Things) directed by avant weirdo (in the best way) Yorgos Lanthimos (Killing of a Sacred Deer, The Lobster) is getting tremendous reviews after its festival debut (believe someone posted a trailer earlier). Certainly won't be for everyone, but really excited to see Stone again (many say her best performance ever here) as she's been pretty MIA since Cruella....

Definitely a sucker for a good western. Caught 'Appaloosa' the other night and really liked Mortensen and Harris together (I missed this when originally released in 2008) and Jeremy Irons is perfect as the town bad guy. Part of the plot revolves around a new woman in town who sort of threatens their partnership. The woman?

Yeah, not buying it. Anyway, good flick - on MAX/HBO.

Okay, not Academy worthy but who doesn't like this type of movie? Or should I say what he/him and cool women don't like "Die Hard" like movies. You can admit it here on BWI.
