Well, if you look at the GIF used, you will notice that 'can' was the operative word and as such I used the same operative word to allow a clear word flow from my thread title to the GIF- which, if read sequentially, offered a response to the thread title and a rebuttal to the response.

Had I used "may" then the word flow would have been disrupted.

I agree with you on the differences between 'can' and 'may'. However, I was not asking permission, I was questioning the mechanical act of posting a jukebox thread on a Thursday as opposed to a Friday. So 'can' is the correct word to use.

I stand by my post and the language used.
And given your concise explanation, you are correct. I took your post as asking permission to post early, not requesting if you are technically able to post early. We're good.

The look of admiration and amazement on Martina's face when Pat sings her song is just great.

Too bad Judith couldn't sing to the levels of the greats - like sheryl crow, for instance.

Read the stories about how that band got robbed by their record company. They were basically left w/ nothing.

Fitting that Toy's birthday falls near Veteran's Day. Vietnam Vet, and a well honored one. Lost way too soon.
