The O/U for Iowa's score at halftime opened at 0.5.
Points or yards gained? The O/U for Iowa's score at halftime opened at 0.5.
It wasn't a bad call at all, it was correct. By rule, players are not allowed to wave their arms at a punt on the ground and then go pick it up and return it. If they do the ball is dead where it is picked up. The officials got a rarely enforced rule exactly right. In a 10-7 barn burner? Yes, I'd laugh too! My loathing of Iowa is a little less than my loathing of the weaselrines.
I'm thinking it's gonna be something like 31-3 or 31-6, weasels.
To Iowa's credit, fwiw, they are a very bad ref call from being 11-1. A most improbable record given their lack of offense, but reminiscent of some seasons in the 50s and early 60s when even eventual National Champs sometimes won a number of their games by scores like 14-7, 10-7, 7-0, etc. How they are winning in today's game of prolific offenses is a condemnation of the B1G West and some East really bad offenses.
You have to think that Iowa will do nothing in the second half. They’re likely going to have to throw and Michigan will overwhelm them there. If Michigan gets a two score lead, they’ll run the ball down Iowa’s throats. The O/U for Iowa's score at halftime opened at 0.5.
Damn the only worse over/under was my chances of scoring with my prom date. The O/U for Iowa's score at halftime opened at 0.5.
But the chances of your scoring with someone else's prom date were pretty highDamn the only worse over/under was my chances of scoring with my prom date.

I doubt it too. I'd expect more bitching about JF and he's paid to take us to better bowls. There's been a large segment this season that want James fired for a two loss season against the #2 &3 teams, with a 19 yr old qb.I dunno. I think that PSU dropping to a lesser bowl might teach some people humility, though I doubt it.
This will always be one of the great GIFs of all timeHe waved his arm. https://rulebook.github.io/en/rules/2/sections/8/
Don't let the Iowa cry babies fool you! It was an invalid fair catch. That just means that they couldn't advance the punt. They had four plays and time on the clock to get into position to kick the winning field goal. Their powerful offense couldn't get it done. After years of "$h!t" happening in Iowa City, I am A surprised the call went our way, and surprised that we made one more play to win there. Two crappy offenses and one struggling defense made for an equally crappy game.
Somebody had to win.
There is a lot of misinformation in this thread. Right now, Penn State is 99% guaranteed to be in the NY6. They WILL get knocked out if one of these two teams win:Just for the sake of argument, how do you figure? I suppose it would be somewhat noteworthy to say that both PSU’s losses came at the hands of teams who made the CFP.
I would be more worried about Ok state winning than Iowa winning. There is a lot of misinformation in this thread. Right now, Penn State is 99% guaranteed to be in the NY6. They WILL get knocked out if one of these two teams win:
Iowa
Okie State
None of the other games have any impact on PSU and the NY6.
Here is why - right now Penn State is #10 in the CFP rankings, but effectively, they are #12 because both Louisville and a G5 team are guaranteed two slots. If either Iowa or Okie State win, they go to the NY 6 as an automatic qualifier and Penn State gets moved out.
