Great effort by the Georgia D to keep that to a field goal. Thought Bama was getting a TD on that drive.

At the goal line on this last drive he has 1st ang goal just inside the 5. I thought he would run at least the first two and maybe all 3. He winds up with 2 incomplete passes and on 2 yd gain - FG.

One run 2 yards. At least Belichek liked him even if you don’t.

How in heck did the Alabama defender have possession before going out of bounds on the "fumble"?

bama finally finds the end zone. The two-point conversion fails. 18-13, bama, with about 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

Mac Jones is the best rookie QB. Just getting started. They certainly are all terrific college QBs, no matter what.
Best rookie QB that didn't get drafted by absolute black hole organizations.

Jones is probably dead if he goes to Jets or Chicago. NE has made average QBs look good multiple times. Castle. Jimmy G. Brissett. Not saying Mac isn't good, but he went to a great situation.

Hey GFU

i kid
You know I'm right. Lol he's an awesome dude. Mad respect for a power lifting champion QB.

What is difference between incomplete Bama pass in first half and the Georgia fumble just now?
that will be the debate. I am guessing it comes down to the level of control. in the case of Young he seemed to have control and just throw it in the ground - I thought it was grounding, and not just an incomplete. In the case of Bennet he seemed to have lost control of the ball during the throw attempt.

Bama QBs arm was going forward and the arm got hit causing it to go downward.

UGA QBs arm was in the back of the wind when he got pulled down. Ball came out up in the air vs forward, even though it rolled forward on the bounce.

back to 19-18 UGA. Bennet does great job coming of his mistake. he is under a ton of pressure, and have to say he makes some good decisions.

It is pretty obvious these are the two best teams. Bama who is a walking Mash unit, but have to admire they have another group of guys to step.

the OL and DL on these teams is at another level.

Anyone notice the benefit of big dominant offensive linemen and a tough running game? Georgia is wearing them out.

This is why you don't chase points. If UGA kicks the XP after the previous TD, you kick for 9 pt lead here. I get the match, 3 pt is better than 2 pt, but there was 8 minutes left then. Not 3.

uga’s offensive line gets movement.
And their defense tackles well. We haven’t seen many defenders throwing their body at players, bounce off, and have the offensive player gain 8-10 more yards. Solid tackling technique by both teams.

If Georgia pulls this off, it will have only taken 19x5* and 55x4* players to do it.
Man, they need to start recruiting better.
