They should just rule the games he played in as not counting for their seed. Im not taking the time to see how they did or who they beat but if they beat a good team then they dont get that quad 1 victory.

Pretty sure they sold their soul to get him to play and did nothing but get blown out after he was "cleared."

I think banning them from post season play or artificially lowering their seed (assuming option one isn't possible) could send a huge message.

I’m still baffled how many on here wanted/wants Oats as head coach. That guy would sell his children for a championship. I want to win but geez, there’s gotta be some integrity inv at some point. This plus the nonchalant way Oats handled continuing to play his player of the year/ accessory to murder Brandon Miller shows me he has absolutely zero integrity or morals. Hard pass on him ever coaching at UK. Everyone can’t be a saint like Barney wants but Oats is just disgraceful

No, they vacate the losses they've had since he played, improving their record and thus their seeding.

That would reaply be icing on the cake. You basically cheat to get a player eligible.. it backfires and you lose.. you part ways and you say "those losses didnt count, right?"

this sport is such dumpster fire right now. Makes you wonder if Alabama/Oats didnt have a hand in making him ineligible for this soul purpose.

I'm in my 30s and am deeply concerned with sneezing my back out on any given day or waking up with a knee the size of a grapefruit. I'm told it gets worse. Thankfully, I'm not sharting myself yet. I'm gonna be held together with hope and duct tape like Lamont Butler when I'm 50, though.
39 going on 40 here, and all of a sudden I can feel my left knee in a way I haven’t before. I work from home on my couch so that helps, couldn’t imagine what it would be like if I actually had to do labor and had been doing labor the last 10/15. No way. Sports injuries are hard enough, not sure how guys do it.

Worth noting here that the NCAA didn’t win the case in the sense that the judge ruled that they’re correct on merit and dismissed the whole thing like a lot of people are acting. He denied Bediako an emergency injunction to play on the basis that any harm he suffers can be remedied with money if he ultimately wins the case.

Short term, that still means we won’t see him in an Alabama uniform again. Long term, this could still be an active case for a bit. If I was king for a day, I’d come down on the side that nobody with professional experience would be playing college ball, but as it is, I still think he has a fair point about how arbitrary the distinction is between himself and several other players the NCAA has willingly allowed. The actual final outcome of the case may still be worth watching.

I don’t think it’ll happen long term. These things can have a ripple effect, and like you say it’s not happening this year for him at all. Only reason it got this far was the Alabama judge who’s a booster got involved. At some point some common sense has to win out here.

Congress is going to have to get invoked in this. But relying on congress to do anything wow.

Shoot, I'm 53 in April, stronger than I have ever been, no aches/pains and I go at it pretty hard in the gym.
Did 770 push ups in less than 2 hours last week. Just because you're in your 50's, doesn't mean you automatically go downhill.

Glad to hear it. You're lucky. I did a lot of manual labor in my life, on the farm and so forth. And I was a power lifter in my younger days so I doubt that helps. But you are very fortunate and not the norm. I mean Jack Lalanne swam and pulled 70 boats on his 70th birthday. That's not the norm, either. Arthritis and other stuff hit most of us.
