The lack of support for our players is disturbing.

What? I’m the only one who responded who was disapproving. Everyone else approves. Clifford doesn’t do anything for us next year - personnel will be worse across the board. He’s stunting the growth of our future QB by coming back. But no one cares about winning or getting better it seems.

Bendapudi laughs at rebuilding.

So do our fans. Hey - Harbaugh is AP Coach of the Year and took a pay cut to stay employed. Anyone want to laugh at Michigan now? Beat us to the CFP with their booger eating, award winning coach. Ouch.

Care in one hand, sh*t in the other….you know the rest.

F*ck us.

I always laugh at um. They shouldn’t be playing football, plus this year could be an aberration for hairball. I also don’t blame Franklin for not making the playoff in 2016. PSU should have been there.

Anyway, f*ck us.

Can’t lose to Pitt and get mud-stomped by Michigan in 2016. Still, agree we should have been there. Harbaugh is a nutty but good coach. He doesn’t flirt with every job opening and got his team to the CFP before Franklin - they guy who lost in 9 OTs to one of the worst teams in college football. Don’t laugh too hard - might hurt your ‘latte’ hand….

Many times over the years, teams have not been penalized for losing early. P5 teams also are not supposed to be passed over after winning their conference championship. PSU finished strong in 2016. The bottom line is PSU and Franklin got hosed in 2016.

Regardless, we get it. You hate Franklin, and if you were Franklin, aside from hating yourself, you would have told Clifford to go f*ck himself.

Why would anyone do that after going undefeated?;)

Far from getting it I’m afraid.

You can be a sunshine pumper or a realist. I‘m a realist. This sucks from a program point of view, and a refusal to move on to younger players, and from an pure entertainment point of view, from being faced w watching the same damn crap we’ve seen from 14 for yet another year. Hard pass.

I look at this is a great thing...We're not forced to play Allar before he's ready, we can use Clifford's strengths a bit more without the fear of what happens if he goes down, Allar gets to watch and learn under someone like Sean for a year to see how he prepares and what it takes to be a successful D1 quarterback, we can find the right spots to get Allar some experience, etc. I'd say it's a win-win for everyone.

Great. Christian V should hit the portal NOW, he'll never see the field next year unless Clifford is unable to walk. PSU will start 2023 with zero experience at QB, just kicking that can down the road.

I’m guessing Franklin sees Clifford as the starter next year, but there should be a legitimate competition in the spring given Clifford’s history of injury and the talent the other guys bring. If Clifford wins the starting job, it gives the younger kids more time to develop. Then if Clifford gets hurt, hopefully someone else is ready to step in. If, on the other hand, someone beats Clifford for the starting job, having Clifford’s experience on the sideline to help the kid develop could be a good thing.

The bottom line is I am happy to see Clifford return. I hate me.
