And yet this board and the NFL went Gaga in love when Tebow got another chance last year.
Why is that? They both are courageous and speak the truth from a place of wanting the world to be a better place
Seems we can settle this once and for all. Both are available in Madden 22, why not sign Kap to the Jags and and throw it to Tebow a bunch. Everyone wins.

Per Warren Sapp, Kaepernick's Raiders workout was a "disaster" and "one of the worst workouts ever."

Guess that explains why no other NFL team has bothered to have him workout.

Kaepernick's agent, for his part, says he was told by the Raiders' GM the workout went well and he threw the ball great. Interestingly, his agent said the Raider's GM said he would encourage any team to call him about the workout and he would tell them how good it was.

So, the workout went so well, that the GM is willing to tell opposing teams about it and have Kaepernick sign there?

Maybe they're hiring up in Canada. They swing further left up there anyway and to say many of them disdain the United States would be an understatement. He'd be "right" at home.
Why did he skip the usfl

Found this Tweet from Adam Schefter interesting:

Kaepernick hasn't played in the NFL for 5 seasons, and he was not a very good QB the last time he played. Bad actually. He's now 34, about the age when most QBs not named Tom Brady start declining somewhat. The game is faster now. But we're to believe that after having been out of the game for 5 years and now being 34 that he's in the best shape of his life? AND that he's good enough to lead a team to the Super Bowl? Come now. Maybe he's still good enough to have a backup job or something like that, but this Tweet is just absurd. Kaepernick is the missing piece for teams with Super Bowl aspirations? Nah.

Maybe if he is in such great shape he can take a knee. Loser!

If an NFL team thought Kaepernick would help them win a Super Bowl, they would sign him. Winning games and ultimately the Super Bowl is where the rubber meets the road. Not the salute to veterans at halftime, visiting sick kids in the hospital, bashing cops or whatever. It's about winning games to put asses in seats and get viewers on TV tuned in. He is a political left wing icon. But to the NFL he is a mediocre QB and a litigation time bomb.

Yep, this is the part I have never understood. Folks whine that Kaepernick was shunned because of his political views and that's why he wasn't getting signed, but the NFL was at the forefront of the woke movement, so that just doesn't make sense. If anything, I think Kaepernick's status among BLM and other groups would incentivize a team signing him in spite of poor ability. But the fact that not one single team has shown even the remotest level of interest tells you just how bad of a QB he is.

Add to that, he doesn't even want to play football. He makes his living by pretending to be the outcast of the NFL b/c of his political stand.

Add to that, those owners also know the truth about the bedrock values of the majority of their fanbases: football they like; political posturing, not so much. I'm talking about the majority of constituencies, not necessarily San Francisco and Seattle.

Agree, Look at the NBA and their now public stance on Roe vs. Wade. Not something they had to do and not smart marketing but they obviously don't care. At least the other sports have not gone there, yet.

But he hasn't been tackled for 5 years. I don't think he's a good NFL quality QB. That's a really high standard. But he thinks he is and wouldn't accept a backup role, which is really commensurate with his talent level.

It's all about the publicity for him - nothing more. He's a legend in his own mind as they used to say.

No NFL team will sign Kapernick because he is way too old and hasn't payed football for too many years. Furthermore, he is a toxic character which all teams will avoid like the plague. Instead, he should go work for the BLM organization.

He’s a child. Just like the Gen Z crowd that are bad mouthing the US. Some plan to wear black tomorrow. Immature and reflective of a culture where everyone gets a trophy. These kids get pissed and want to burn everything down the moment adversity strikes.
