Do we root for Levis or are we supposed to be mad at him? Me n Colin love him the most:

o SNAP

Why would I not root for Will Levis. He was a dedicated player for PSU and he had years to over take Clifford and simply could not. He made a difficult decision and it made him a multi millionaire. His presence at PSU might have brought some victories in 2021 when SC was hurt, but he definitely would not have been the difference vs. MIchigan or Ohio State.

The Bills took a risk on Josh Allen as he did not have stellar stats at Wyoming but had the physical skill set of an NFL QB. I believe Allen is a superior runner to Levis and have not watched enough of Levis lately to know how well he can escape from pressure. Allen benefitted from great coaching and help from Jordan Palmer QB whisperer. I wish Will all the good luck in the world.

Levis will make A LOT of money from his decision to leave Penn State. It just remains to be seen whether a lot is $30 million or $300 million.

Just listened to these guys talk about FL QB Richardson. Everyone is gushing over him. Kirwan’s response, “Thirteen college starts does not prepare you for NFL football”.
This is true, but physically Richardson is wow. What an arm he has. I guess that Levis might be better prepared for the NFL than Richardson, seeing as Levis has started for two years.

I’ve read in one single place that Levis has issues with anxiety. Does this ring a bell? Regardless, Levis will be taken by mid-second round latest. I expect him to be off the board at 16, Washington.

Oh, yes, Richardson is physically gifted. I think the comparison they made is Josh Allen, in that, Allen had all the potential in the world, but had footwork and fundamentals to work on. Richardson is raw. The team that takes him will have to be patient due to the offense he ran and the lack of playing experience. Unfortunately, when a player is taken in the first round, they don’t have the luxury of a lot of developmental time.

If Levis is available for Washington at 16, I say take him. Sam Howell is Sam Howell. Take Richardson if he’s available at 16. Hey @rudedude what were your feelings when the Bills picked Allen? What about now, pleasantly surprised or shocked all to hell?

So, people criticize his work ethic and smarts because…:he’s short? I guess people will ignorantly make up anything these days.
I wasn’t referring to Bryce Young work ethic. I don’t know anything about it. But Kyler Murray? That’s a different cat.

I was happy to get him and in retrospect, the first choices were either Mayfield, Rosen,
or Darnold!!! I’m ecstatic!! Allen’s arm ability is unreal and hopefully the Bills focus on beefing up the OL and getting him more weapons (WR, RB). I think Levis needs to go to the right team and perhaps wait a little to play and sit behind a vet QB.

I think Josh Allen regressed a bit this year, even though he is still a great talent. But he may really miss having Daboll as his OC. It will be really interesting to see how he does in 2023. I love watching the guy play QB.

I don’t know. I’m not all that confident in any of the QBs in this draft or the last. If Washington takes Levis in the first round and he is a bust, they just set themselves back even further. They have a good young core group of talent. Maybe a veteran presence like Carr would be a better option at this point? At least until that higher ceiling group of QBs come along, whenever that may be?

You do realize he had a fairly injured elbow tendon in the first Jets game? He wore a brace for several weeks and only started to feel ok the last two weeks. He didn’t regress, he had more turnovers than desirable and the Bills team endured some weird crap the entire year: record blizzards, a plethora of injuries, owners wife almost dying, Hamlin dying on the field and being revived. They ran out of steam by the end of the year. I proffer his stats to show he really didn’t regress, that is as myth

Maybe, but there was a hell of a lot of room for misinterpretation.
Not really. I said another ( that being the key word so you knew it was BY) small NFL Qb……. Which leaves Russ and Kyler. Pay your money take your point

The guy is Anthony Morelli or Christian Hackenberg. No thanks for a competent NFL GM — at least not in the 1st round.

54% completion rate in college and all the lack of touch issues NFL teams should fear. Josh Allen is going to cause a lot of big draft mistakes.

Just had the best vertical and long jump. Surely those 2 for a QB puts him in the first round!!

Every time I see this thread title, I feel that Colin is lucky that Will wasn't named Richard instead
