You commented on my behavior

Let’s never forget that, not that I’m seeing this in this thread.
Okay, you edited, thanks. That wasn’t about you. Why would you think it was about you? I don’t obfuscate. It was more about me than anyone else. I read the scouting report attached above and it’s “Levis is a very high-character guy,” something no one has ever disputed. The guy’s living his dream. Maybe I could focus on that part of the story instead of on the challenges he faces.

At any rate, “not that I’m seeing this in this thread” means “nobody has been disrespecting Levis in this thread.” That’s all. Not at all about The Rick.

I was listening to ESPN radio this morning and the talk was about the Bears trading down. Mel Kiper went on record to say this is a terrible draft while admitting that's something he never says. He said it's hard for him to pick 85 players to get excited about. Last year's draft only one QB was picked in the first round and that was in the mid 20's, yet Mel thinks this overall draft is worse than that one. Personally, I don't think any of the top 4 QB's in this draft start more than 3 seasons in the NFL. I guess we'll find out.

Crazy how all we heard last year was that the '23 QB class was going to be so much better and now they are disappointing?

The Bears would love to trade down because they have more holes than a 1st pick can fix. Will anybody trade up, that is the question? Are they set on Fields being the future QB? Do they have enough information?

Go with Fields, period.

Young, I don’t see working out.

Honestly I’m fascinated at the attention he’s getting. I’m NOT seeing a future HOFer. I look forward to watching his first contract years, hoping for the best.

Do we root for Levis or are we supposed to be mad at him? Me n Colin love him the most:

o SNAP

Pump the brakes on Colin Cowturd. He once said Charlie Weis was the best coach in college football. He daily throws shite against the wall hoping it sticks.

I'm honestly confused by it as he's still not very accurate and played in a run heavy offense and didn't light anyone up for the most part. I get that be is a big kid, really good arm, but in the NFL accuracy matters. He didn't light up the TD numbers and his TD/INT is about 2/1. I'm confused by it as I honestly think some people in the media hear names from teams to throw people off. I'm a Saints fan and I sure hope they don't go near him. Great young man, but I'm just not seeing the "QB" cannot miss skills here. JMO...I've been wrong before. Good on him if he goes early and does well.

D bag, Colin is friends with lots of insiders. Are you?
but whats that have to do with anything? do you think they will give you their real valuation? Do you think they give their real opinion to Colin? I'd rather go with someone who can do their own evaluation (Colin can not, he just repeats things he heard) To me, that's why Pat Kirwan's evaluation carries some weight. Yes you have to read between the lines, but he is like many posters, what am I missing? Watch the UGA tape, watch the Tennessee tape. Even Mel Kiper does his own work.

So after a super long career you give cowherd zero credit for having his own opinions, which by the way, are formed with the help of expert opinions?

The thing I find with Colin, at least sometimes listening to his radio show, is he's all about the now. Many of his "opinions" are formed by whos hot or whos trending.

Yea not many and probably none at ESPN. :ROFLMAO:
Ive listened to Colin when driving on the PA Pike and 83 from time to time and hes "listenable" I just don't put much stock into what he says.
And no I do not listen to 610. I'm an alternative music radio kind of guy. WTMD out of towson is awesome.
I think out of all of them Howard Griffith is my favorite.

Honestly, I think Lavar's show on Fox Sports Radio in the morning is entertaining. I don't need the the shock jock saying 💩 for ratings garbage. I like less opinions and more content like interviews and reporting. Dan Patrick and Rich Eisen are pretty good at that while mixing in some entertainment.

NFL radio is the way to go. All though he is the Giants guy, Bob Pappa is the ultimate professial when it comes to all of this. Even Charlie Weiss provides good insight into the league. That said 'Moving the Chains' with Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller is the best by far!! Not even close. They are on M-F 3-7mp They actually know the game and what they are talking about. They bring on guests that actually know the game and what they are talking about. Try a listen if you will.

Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller are excellent. I listen to them also. Would Pat call him J-A-G? Just a guy?
I can’t stand Charlie Weis. What an arrogant bag of hot air. Someone should call in every day and remind him he failed miserably as a HC at ND. He’s needs to be humbled a bit.

ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr has Levis as the best qb available. I didn’t know this until today.

Miller and Kirwan are no bs. I second Charlie Weis as a windbag also. Greg Cosell also speaks the truth.

I’ll say this , at least on NFL Radio I can stand to listen to Charlie. There r times he seems humbled. Now when he starts talking about his kid……

Just listened to these guys talk about FL QB Richardson. Everyone is gushing over him. Kirwan’s response, “Thirteen college starts does not prepare you for NFL football”.
I’ve heard him talk about him ( not by name) only to say that guy needs a lot of work

I don’t get the hate for Bruce Young unless you hate Dr. Pepper or something. The kid did what was asked of him. Played at a high level against top level competition and stayed out of trouble, no? Give the kid a chance.

Young is a small guy. I think that’s all there is to it. He checks all the boxes except size.

So, people criticize his work ethic and smarts because…:he’s short? I guess people will ignorantly make up anything these days.
